Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I don’t know that I’ve seen that one. I’m guessing this is it?

Almost certainly. I won't spoil it for you by telling you what sort of surprise they planned to drop.

Barrett,

Did you guys travel to the game on the light rail? I visited MSP last summer and found it to be an excellent option.

You know, we’ve never actually used the light rail here. We don’t go downtown all that often. I think between a couple baseball games, a trip to the big central library and this football game, we’ve probably been downtown more times in the past six months than we had been in the almost six years we’ve lived here. When we do go, we actually have a pretty straight shot to drive downtown, too, so we usually just drive and find a place to park. I think we’d have to drive nearly all the way downtown to get to the light rail anyways.

They are in the process of extending one of the LRT lines down to Eden Prairie (a suburb southwest of Minneapolis), but it takes us just as long to drive to EP as it does to drive downtown, so I doubt we’ll be utilizing that much.

That makes a lot of sense. If it’s not convenient to your origin it’s really hard not to drive.

It worked well for me arriving at the airport. I hopped on and went to the Warehouse district for a conference. Once I got there I started looking for something to do and found a friendly match between Minnesota United FC and Everton in the evening of the second night. Took the rail to the stadium and back. Easy peasy. They mopped the floor with Everton. Something like 4-1 which surprised me. 😎🤠👍👍

I think it’s really geared more towards what you were doing, moving around between downtown Minneapolis, St. Paul, the airport, etc. Downtown Minneapolis is interesting. It’s really not all that big, everything is pretty close together, and once you’ve done it a few times, it’s not that difficult to navigate. I still prefer being well outside the city, but it’s nice to have nearby for fun stuff to do.

It’s a glorious 80 degree afternoon here. Sipping a Michelada in the sun.

Sounds nice! I’m already over it not being warm outside (and it’s not even cold yet!). 😁

I bought a display tray for jewelry to keep my flock handy on top of my dresser

This is all of my Lambs save for two that are with Glennbad for new covers.

Your flock looks nice and cozy all nestled in there, visions of sugar plums and whatnot. You might need a second tray, though… there’s no room to grow! 😉

Very cool Lambsfoot, Dwight! 😎
