Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I read a news article a few days ago about the warm weather in the UK. Hope it lingers for as long as possible.
Me too Paul, it came as quite a surprise :)

Hope you're having a good one Steve :)

Afternoon Guardians! Looks like everyone is off to a good start to the week. Got a Bex Lamb today. I've had it a while but been slowly cleaning it up. When I got it it looked like it had spent a few decades in the bottom of someone's grungy tool box. The blade is made of that good old Sheffield steel.

They were often tool box knives, judging from the amount I come across, which are covered in paint! :D Nice bit of Bex there Steve

Great detail on the Benedetto Dwight.
Hope your week goes well too
Thank you kindly Bob. Cosimo just finished another one for me ... :)
Great detail on the truck too! :D Your Bendetto is a looker, for sure, Dwight
Thanks pal. Love those Unimogs and those Benedetto's. 😁
The latest in a string of great lambs you’ve posted, Dwight
Many thanks Jeremy. :)

Then there were 3.
I blame Jack Jack Black Jack Black & Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 😉😊 It wasn't a pattern I know I needed till I had 1😊 I decided I need 1 in wood.
This arrived before lunch. A simple 4" A Wright in rosewood. I picked it up cheap with postage thrown in. Lambsfoot are as rare as hens teeth in Australia. I haven't seen another 4 for awhile. There used to be another dealer but he passed years ago & the business is not the same.
Any way I digress back to knife in hand. The fit & finish is not bad. I like the rosewood, they seem to be getting rarer. As the smaller 1s are listed in Ekki, African wood. The grinds are reasonable & pretty sharp. The pivot will need a clean & oil. For what I paid I'm happy & will make a good user.

A lovely photo, I'm envious!
Thanks pal. You live on a lovely street in a magnificent city Jack.

Nice one. And the 4's are very rare here. Where you got that are excellent to deal with.

Yes, that place has gone to the dogs to use an old phrase. 😞

I love Rosewood, it is just so underrated. You may be correct about it becoming rarer. I have one in a really light shade, just fantastic, but cannot get that anymore.
