Nice
But no good for me. I would have to turn it upside down to use with my good hand 😉
Hope it gets there soon.
Seeing as you're in Australia, the pics would be right-side-up for us folks in the Northern Hemisphere 😁
All over Steve, and there is more rain to come. In Sheffield, the river is over its banks, with flood barriers in place, and there's been some already in Leeds. I'm on a hill, and a long way from the nearest river
After getting flooded out of my apartment in 1993, I made sure to buy a house that was up the hill. The only way I'll get flooded again is if we have a mud/rock slide and I wind up back in the river bottom :p

We've had the opposite problem this summer. It's been dry, dry, dry. Your pics make me hesitant to wish for rain. It would be all too like Missouri to swing completely the other way 🤨

What's that underneath your '18 Jer? :)
Thanks Jack.
It seems all the hurricanes and ocean storms are brushing us.
Yeah, we don't get it too bad here, compared to some folks Bob, just now and again. We get more mediocre weather than spectacular weather! :D ;)
I found some 35mm film in a box in the garage recently, but don't know what to do with it--can't find my camera!
That's cool Vince, I miss the plastic cans it came in, useful for all sorts of things :D

Yikes! Sheffield is all hills, and I always lived up one or another of them! :D When I first moved to Leeds, I didn't think I lived on a hill, 20 years later I know that I do :D

Anyone have any tips on cleaning this old Arkansas stone (may be unimportant)? The previous owner clearly ignored the advice to clean it after each use, and it might have been in the pouch for decades. Mr Barnes recommends cleaning it with a little honing oil, but that ain't working! I clean my ceramics with scouring clean, but don't want to clog up the stone

Nice, is that bone or stag ?

Just an update that this snakewood lambfoot is still quite the loyal companion. Getting to be flannel season around here in Idaho now.
