Thanks for the advice RickJack that stone isn't even broken in yet!
Dish soap and hot water work well with brushes or stainless steel wool.
I'd probably degrease it and then go flood some flat concrete with water and just rub a bit off the of the stone.

I have all sorts of stones, both synthetic and natural, but they're differentI agree with Rick. ...but have a diamond flattening stone.
