Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Haha! Curmudgeonly geezer, eh? The man is a legend.

I look forward to those days in my life, if I make it long enough. 🤪.

I used to have awesome chops like tool man back in high school. Had to shave them down for culinary school and just went for the beard afterwards. At one point I told Nat it would be fun to bring the chops back and was met with a stern "NO", lol!

Interesting cast of characters jack, thanks for sharing market day each week. I can imagine toting around a crossbow would be frowned upon there? They seem to be very afraid of sharp objects and projectiles in the area, from what I've gathered. It looks a good project though!
Possibly an understatement Rick (says the man who was once called "cantankerous" in a national newspaper)! 🤣 LOL! :D One of the advantages of being single (don't tell my Dominican girlfriend I said that)! 🤣

Thanks Rick, I've mentioned this to Barry several times, but he assures me that the police won't mind him discharging a crossbow in a public park

Another day with this beautifully staggy lamb. I’ll have to be honest with you guys, this one breaks my heart a bit. When I sent it to Glenn, I was very excited because I thought I had hit a bit of a jackpot. The knife was centered and had a great pull with glorious snap. Well, after being taken apart and put back together, the backspring has decided to lose its umph. It will snap shut, but I have to push it open. Glenn even agreed to take it back and work on it a second time, but with no success (what a good guy).

He said that he has seen it before…these back springs with questionable heat treats.

Oh, well! It still is a fabulous knife with absolutely beautiful scales.

Have a great one!

Happy Birthday to your mom, Dwight !!!! Sounds like it is going to be a fun and tasty shindig. Very nice oldie today.
I hope everyone is having a good day. It's never stopped raining here unfortunately, so the market was wet, cold, but not entirely miserable! :D Tool Man was happy with his sammich (which he followed immediately, with a large Bear Claw)! 🤣
It has been raining here for 4 days straight. Not as cold as you though. That is the Toolman we know and love!!!! That sammich did not stand a chance.
Barry The Ted has been building a crossbow for about 2 years, and keeps us all updated each week, and at considerable length. He eschews popular opinion in terms of crossbow manufacture ("Why do I need to use hardened steel, steel IS hard!"), use (insisting on dry-firing it several times), and the law (I just use it in the park)! Thankfully, nobody was injured at the tool stall, and I suspect Barry might be rather pleased with having a captive audience when he's doing time in one of His Majesty's penal establishments! :D
😆 🤣 😂 . Here is hoping that Barry stays out of the slammer.
Good morning Guardians. I’m on a little fishing trip. The fishing is really good today, taking a little break back at the cabin. I’m terrible at taking photos of fish. I’m afraid I’m going to drop my phone I guess. 😄
So you left your students in a sub's hands? I would too lol. Have fun, Todd.

Stunner, Jon.
Heading out soon for chow at the Wagon Wheel Cafe and then a drive to Lakeview, Oregon for an oil and oil filter change and service on our truck. I'm carrying a Buck 112 as my primary and this Lambfoot for small things.

If I am anywhere near there in my life, I am eating at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. Wonderful snakewood on that lamb, Ed. Have a good one, buddy.

Enjoy your day Ed

I have to go to a meeting tonight, but it's in an old 'working men's club', (actually the oldest social club in the country), and they will have beer :) I've just had a month on the waggon, so a pint or two will be most welcome ;) Hoping they have some food on, as it's a bit of an odd time (scarfed down a couple of slim burgers just in case ;) ). I'm taking my Eric's Lamb out with me :) Catch you tomorrow Guardians

Blimey Paul, sounds like our summer! :D It didn't mate! :D I heard some passer-by say, "He'll never manage that" Gone in the blink of an eye, and the next thing he had a huge Bear Claw in his mouth, and cream all over his face! :D

I hope you don't get flooding like they're experiencing in Sheffield at the moment!

I wouldn't wish that sort of cruel and unusual punishment on the worst miscreants! 🤣
It will not stop raining here. At least it's warmish. At work stuffing my face with sunflower seeds while I stay out of the wet stuff as much as possible. Carrying this wonderful stag HHB today. Have a great day, Guardians.

Hope it dries up soon buddy :) Great shot

Prey that it does not turn white Paul. 😱
It will on Saturday according to the weatherman. I hope he is wrong.

Yay! :D Great news Bob :) I am losing out to a hip op tomorrow, as my mate Wolfie, who I usually meet up with on Fridays, is travelling across the country, to look after his mother-in-law, who is having a hip-hop today. You may wonder why her daughter isn't going, but it'd be kinder to send Barry! 🤣 ;)

That's a shame , might be worth tracking down another to harvest the backspring from.

I know that situation well Jack. The flooding has to be horrible for the residents.
When I was young, flooding was an annual occurrence. I would row around the neighborhood and could fish.

Yikes! Those Minnesota winters are long ones! Hope you can make it down to Texas soon my friend ;) :D Talking of Texas, I hope Pete had a great weekend. I thought he'd like this T-shirt I got the other day! :D
