Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Todd :) I think you guys have been having more fun than I had on my 'night out'! I could have dined out twice on what it cost me in taxi fares, the meeting was absolutely tedious, and I was only to grab a couple of pints 🤨 👎
Sounds like a classic “bait and switch” to me!
🙄

Well, maybe I'll watch some. Baker's still the Best! ;)
Baker was my first and will always be a favorite.
However, the writing was so superior under Moffit, you have to watch some Smith episodes... Just ask your daughter, she'll know.

She was a ratings booster. ♥️
I'm so jealous. 🤠
I'm doubly jealous now. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Mornin, John. Have a great day.
Hope you had a good day too, Paul. :)
You will be free & running with a soundtrack 😀

Hey! That's my wife's cousin... Seriously. 🤠

Yikes! Those Minnesota winters are long ones! Hope you can make it down to Texas soon my friend ;) :D Talking of Texas, I hope Pete had a great weekend. I thought he'd like this T-shirt I got the other day! :D

Thanks Paul, I'm hoping there's not too much tedium! :D ;)
Jack, I love the shirt!!! 😎💯

Hope everyone is having a good week 👍. Blood lamb is putting a shift this week.

The horns showed up and they look fantastic. It's going to be hard to position the covers just right in that nice design!
Unfortunately there is a lot of thinning to do... It's going to be a long haul to get it to the right thickness.

Nice K'roo and nice model 74 also. I've never fired one of these but had owned a 47 for a nunber of years. Very reliable. Still have the bayonet that was given to me by an old friend after one of his tours over in Iraq.

We used to get 1000 7.62's for $140. I can't even imagine what that would cost today, lol.

Once more week and cane is gone!!View attachment 2369185
Great to hear that all is going well!

That's a shame , might be worth tracking down another to harvest the backspring from.
That is not a bad idea. I might reach out to the vendor in Oregon and see if he has a S model that is wretched in some other capacity that he would sell me cheap. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks gents!

It was a solid worker that I scored off the exchange for $25 bucks - tacked onto another purchase. Glenn has a way to spice things up!

Fantastic stag!

I think I would rather go skinny dipping off the coast of Iceland than paint another room 😃 😀 😄. Thank you, Jack. A treasured gift from you my friend

No need to go all the way to Iceland, I’m sure we can find you a polar plunge somewhere near you this winter. 😉🤣

Nice basket full of lambs, John.

Thanks David. :)

Smoking brisket and yard bird and will grill boudain. Mom's birthday party will be Saturday so we will have a crowd. She's turning 90. :)

Brisket and boudain? What time is dinner and what can I bring? 😉😁

Happy 90th to your mom, that’s awesome!

You're keeping up fine David :)

That's a really interesting old Lamb I think Dwight  Great pic too my friend :)

Are you sure that purple rain isn't dye running out of your jaunty cap Mitch?! :D ;) Cool pics :)

I'm very disappointed John, particularly as I had bought some accessories for it, and spent several hours watching videos :( They have offered to exchange it, but I think I'm just going to get a refund

Really Vince?! :D Yes, until recently, it was the tallest building in Yorkshire, built about 15 years ago - pretty disastrously  I remember calling it 'The Dalek' before I'd heard anyone else use the name, but the resemblance is hard not to spot :D I must have dozens of photos of it, probably even some including a Lambsfoot, but I have so many pics, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack! Hopefully, you can see why it's called 'The Dalek' :D

The security guard ;) :D

I can see it Mitch! 🤣

Mmmmmm 😋

I hope everyone is having a good day. It's never stopped raining here unfortunately, so the market was wet, cold, but not entirely miserable! :D Tool Man was happy with his sammich (which he followed immediately, with a large Bear Claw)! 🤣

The tool stall was a bit more back to normal in terms of the stock

Barry The Ted has been building a crossbow for about 2 years, and keeps us all updated each week, and at considerable length. He eschews popular opinion in terms of crossbow manufacture ("Why do I need to use hardened steel, steel IS hard!"), use (insisting on dry-firing it several times), and the law (I just use it in the park)! Thankfully, nobody was injured at the tool stall, and I suspect Barry might be rather pleased with having a captive audience when he's doing time in one of His Majesty's penal establishments! :D

On the way back home, I decided to call in at Charlie's for a caffeine pick-me-up. I had thought that Sara's match-making mother had left for Italy, but she is staying a few more days, and I learned that, with no personal input whatsoever, I now have a very attractive girlfriend in Santo Domingo. Thankfully, more than 4,000 miles separate us! :D

Another excellent Thursday market report, Jack. Good luck with your new girlfriend! 🤣

LOL! :D Yes, £1 will get you 2 foot! :D Tool Man will only sell to people who understand Imperial measurements and the pre-Decimal monetary system 🤣

🤣🤣

Good morning Guardians. I’m on a little fishing trip. The fishing is really good today, taking a little break back at the cabin. I’m terrible at taking photos of fish. I’m afraid I’m going to drop my phone I guess. 😄View attachment 2369079View attachment 2369078View attachment 2369076

Sounds like a great time, Todd. 🎣

It will not stop raining here. At least it's warmish. At work stuffing my face with sunflower seeds while I stay out of the wet stuff as much as possible. Carrying this wonderful stag HHB today. Have a great day, Guardians.

Same here, Paul. Rainy and foggy today, but at least it’s not cold. Yet.

I love sunflower seeds. What’s your go-to brand/flavor?

Another rainy day here which is good after our dry summer 👍

I’m just hoping all the leaves that I have to deal with dry out a bit before the rain switches to snow. 🙄

If we get snow this weekend it shouldn't stick for long. Hopefully we'll get another warm up before the deep freeze 👍

Thanks pal! I think Sara is taking her mother over to York for the day today, so I'm hoping it'll be safe for me to go into Charlie's!🤣

Got out to the tomatoes 🍅 in-between the rain.

Good morning Guardians, there's a bunch of stuff I could do with doing today, but I have a couple of deliveries coming at some point, so I need to check those first. Still carrying my Albers Lamb :) I love this sheath that Jeremy sbh06 sbh06 made for me :) Have a good Friday Guardians

Looks good Jack, though everything looks better sitting next to that fine Albers.
Thank you Barrett. :)

Jeremy does good work... Hope you're having a good day my friend. 🤠
Thanks John, hope all is well for you. Glad to see you back again. Skoll had a great time on my trip to San Diego last week, almost like he felt like he was back home.
