Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Standing guard with a fine lamb John?
Thank you, my friend. :)

Nice May Lamb. 🤠

Kids know to stay away from those houses Barrett! 🤣;)

🤣🤣

Area I used to live in Sheffield, you'd have come home to no candy, and a bowl full of dog pee!!🤣

We definitely passed a few houses where the left-out candy bowls appeared to have been emptied by some greedy teenagers, and one had been filled with snow — which is a lot better than dog pee, I guess. 😁

I'll check that out buddy, I always look forward to seeing their costumes :) Cool pic :) Nice size flask (and easy to clean and fill)!

Thanks, Jack. Yeah, that flask isn’t the coolest looking or most traditional, but it sure does work well. Holds a good amount and, as you say, easy to clean and fill (no little funnel needed).

It's only 8.15pm here, and I'm worn out, and wishing I was in bed! :D

I was passing the camera shop, where I took this pic last week, and thought I'd call in, and have a look at their lenses. I hadn't realised that everything they sell is pre-digital! They have scores of amazing vintage cameras, the place is like a museum, but apparently they still sell, like hot-cakes, to photographers. I was absolutely amazed. The girl in the shop showed me all the film they had in stock, and said they sold so much Black & White that they couldn't get it in fast enough. Incredible

That seems like a pretty cool shop. I suppose as a hobby it has some of the same appeal as traditional knives.

Good morning Guardians, this is the best weather we've had so far today, and another downpour is just starting. Have a good day everyone 👍

Sorry you didn’t have better weather, Jack. Does Tool Man have to employ some rust-prevention measures with some of his tools on days like that? (I know the stalls are covered, but sometimes even just the humidity on a day like that can be troublesome.)

Afternoon Guardians! Jack Big Rose might get jealous taking WaBooooooooooom to the market. Ethan on the trail today.

Hope not buddy! :D Nice to see Ethan :)
Great picture and a cool store !
Thanks Steve, interesting to see a revival in film photography
A Lamb for all seasons :)
Thanks Jack. We had a nice evening including watching “The Purge”. Enjoy the market tomorrow 👍👍

Great to see you John and this Lamb. 😎

Very nice Steve!

Still with this one today in the office. View attachment 2376142
Thanks a lot Pete :) Great pic of your Waynorth Lamb  Tool Man has taken to wearing Doc Marten shoes these past few months

I didn't. Mom called and invited the family over for dinner. Home cooked Korean meal in one hand and freezing my butt off in a tree in the other ? Easy choice 🤣 .

🤣 🤣
Match your lamb to the docs? That can be a thing!

Now I can tell Nat that there is a good reason we need more Black lambs or a new colors of 1460s.

These are just the beat up work boots. Doc combs. They definitely are not long lasting work boots but they discontinued my favorite ones.

Cool pic Rick  :)
Thanks fellas. Y’all would have gotten a kick out of seeing an eleven yr old Bob Ross playing football with his buddies, juking the defense with his afro flowin in the breeze 😂.
🤣

About 20 years ago, a few of us, the folks who used to live on my street, were sitting around watch a movie. One of the lads had an Afro, and forever more, was known as 'Heid'! :D

🤣👍👍

Bro it’s a Ross-world. I think your son did it better. 👍👍 View attachment 2376268
I'd never heard of Bob Ross before the other day! :D
Greetings- Bob Ross and Fred Rogers are two of my favorite heros.
These lambs followed me home... I greatly enjoy these simple cutters, its unreal how useful they are....

Welcome to the Guardians! 🎉
Sad the rain has come Jack. Hope toolman's canopy is keeping you dry.
Thanks Bob :) I checked the Met Office forecast this morning, and it said it was going to be fine all day, and sunny this afternoon. Hasn't stopped raining! 🤨
Nice to see Old Toffee Wings Jer :)
Hope you're having fun at the Market. 🤠
Thanks John :)
Love that pic pal :D
Hope everyone is off to a great start to the day.View attachment 2376523
You too Bob, cool pic buddy :)

My brother and I quoted that movie endlessly growing up! Thanks for the laugh. 😂

Yeah, I bought the same model for my ex, which she specifically requested. Probably never been used

Surprisingly, it's not the only pre-digital camera shop in the city centre

Thanks mate :) If the rain is blowing sideways, he'll put a tarp over them, but if they get wet, he has to clean them up again :( Doesn't stop him turning up though, unlike Nobber Al, for instance who only sells CDs anyway

How's everyone doing? I hope your day is going well :) The rain never stopped here today, and mostly rained heavily. Boring Ray is on the annual family vacation to the Yorkshire seaside, in November o_O So it was just me and Tool Man, and as Tool Man had to go for the fitting of his latest drape jacket, I had to man the stall alone for an hour. Tool Man bought the cake on his return (though he also ate most of it)!😂

Nobber Al wasn't the only trader to 'blob', (as Tool Man puts it) today, but his absence was the most inconvenient, since I had taken a bunch of DVDs down for him, along with a few books for the equally feckless Golden Gordon  This street trader, on his way up to the city centre, had to defend his wares against ninjas! :D

There weren't so many punters in the market, due to the poor weather, but Tool Man still did OK. An old friend of ours traded him this lovely old mincer. I was astonished when Tool Man put it on sale for a fiver, and even more astonished when some toe-rag was trying to haggle him down to £2! 🤨In fact he got the sharp edge of my tongue, much to Tool Man's amusement! 🤣

While Tool Man was off at the tailor's, I had a poke around on the stall, and actually found a Lambsfoot! I was pretty disgusted when I saw that TEW were doing these economy models, but at least this one has a carbon steel blade. I haven't had a motorbike for decades, but thought this old Dunlop tyre lever looked useful :)

Since Tool Man was on his own, I stayed a bit later than usual, leaving just before the arrival of Mrs Tool Man :) And it was still raining

Thanks Jack, I do hope it was not too wet for a sammich and cake.😃
Thanks Bob :) I actually took a cheese sammich down with me today, which is pretty much unheard of, but I was glad I did, as I was able to have it while Tool Man was off at the tailors :) We scoffed a doughnut apiece, and our favourite cake :)
My brother and I quoted that movie endlessly growing up! Thanks for the laugh. 😂
Really Jon?! :D I think I've only seen it twice :) I'll have to see if I can find it online
Good morning Guardians !

Carrying this one today 👍

That is one sweet Lamb Steve, and a very nice pic of it

Carrying my favorite on this gloomy day...notice anything different?

Always fancied 'something' on the bolsters...seeing all the nice fluted bolsters, I decided to take the matters in to my own hands 🤣

Definitely personalizing this lambsfoot to be mine...all mine...

Nice work Ken, it's all yours! :D

"resulted in a cut with folds, or "drapes," front and back that created the illusion of the broad-shoulders and tight-waist "V" figure of the very fit."
I look forward to a pic of Toolman in his new drape suit.

LOL! :D I noticed that discrepancy too Jer! 😁
Thank you, Jack... Eggs-Stir-Man-Ate. 🤣

That old mincer brings back memories.
I used one just like it when my kids started eating solid food, it was great for grinding up meats and veggies. 🤠
LOL! :D They're great mate, and go on forever  I used to mince meat for my mother and grandmother, and I also used to mince bread for my granddad's fishing groundbait :D Used a Mouli grater for the kids :)

Cool pic !

Nice job ! I've thought about doing that to one of my Lambs.

Forgot to turn my calendar over! :D California is looking nice at this time of year :)
