It also does a great job on copper pots! I'll have to try this thanks.Jack, you asked a few weeks ago how to clean a sharpening stone. I had brain freeze at the time.
I just finished doing a few knives and clean my stones with this product and a toothbrush. It is an old fashioned scouring power.View attachment 2373787
Absolutely beautiful knife!Happy Monday Guardians ! It's was a brisk 21° this morning but the sun is shining
Starting the week with this one

Lucy isLucy is out of her box!
The most snow I've ever seen around here was the Blizzard of '93. I was 9, but can still see the giant snow piles and people trying to drive down the hill we lived on. It was madness!Nothing like the blizzard of 1991
I was elected to be the candy bowl manager this year and definitely ate my share. I tried to get kid#2 to do it but he is too busy shouting obscenities through a headset while playing some shoot em up game. We had our halloween last Saturday and it's been getting busier every year since the 'vid. Still not what it used to be.He ate more than he gave out lol
Great albumIve been down for the count for a few days now. Massive headache Monday and I don't even want to describe Tuesday morning. It's the first time I've called off work since the man flu in 2016. I won't count COVID because I was forced to stay home. After Nat made me take COVID tests yesterday I can say it's not COVID. Gatorade and ibuprofen seem to be the winning combo here. Luckily today is a Holy day and one of the perks of working for the church is that we usually get the day off. So at least I should be good to go tomorrow, only burning one sick day.
Since I was stuck at home, I started digging into my junk pile to clean and organize. Found a pile of my old records. Srgt Peppers, some Kansas, toys in the attic, a couple old Cosby stand ups and this beast of a classic here

Note to self. Not a lot of trick or treaters in the country. Maybe the huge Sams Club bag was a bad idea![]()
. Drove the two younger kids into the city for trick or treat and my oldest passed out candy at the house. He ate more than he gave out lol. We had two kids come by the

Good lookin crew!
@sbh06 more candy for dad’s secret stash
McD crew was large and in charge at their party tonight. They have graduated out of trick or treat and into party mode because they are sooooo cool. Bob Ross needed to let you all know that a stag Lambsfoot is a great tool for landscape painting

LOL!I guess I have a few I bought on purpose too, usually if there is a new (and updated) edition. I found two copies of Conrad's The Secret Agent though, a slim volume I have been meaning to read for decades, and never actually done so!

I typically have mild headaches and tinnitus doesn't help, but this was extraordinary. I tried googling what it could be and webMD seems to think I don't have much time left on this planet.hope you are finding some relief Rick. I know all about migraines.
I had amassed quite a pile in my teens. You could still find records at the thrift store and such. It was before they were cool again, lol!I appreciate my older records after I have forgotten about them a t the bottom of my rack.
Funny I have always been an LP person, then CD's. Now I lean toward streaming so I don't have to get up and down so much. It does not have the soul of LP's...it's just easier. Thanks!

But we think its either a bad migraine, dehydration or both.

I guess it goes in cycles. My kid is asking for CD's and I keep asking why, telling him that we all bailed on using CDs as soon as any other option came along.

Kids know to stay away from those houses Barrett! Our neighborhood is generally pretty good for trick-or-treating, but our house is on a dead end, a bit hidden by trees until you get down to the end of the street, and uphill from a lot of the other houses around us, so we’ve learned not to expect too many trick-or-treaters.
Area I used to live in Sheffield, you'd have come home to no candy, and a bowl full of dog pee!!We always leave a bowl of candy out since we both go out with the girls. I was surprised anyone took any last night, as there were less kids out than usual because of cold and snow, but when we got back it looked like we’d had a few stop by at least.
I used to do that with my DVDs mate, worked most of the time!I’ve tried a few different apps on my phone to keep an inventory of books, because I often find myself considering buying one that I can’t remember if I have already or not.
I'll check that out buddy, I always look forward to seeing their costumesThanks, Jack. We had fun. I posted pics of the girls in their costumes over in the totin’ thread, as well as this pic, which I’ve edited for reposting here, of course.

It's only 8.15pm here, and I'm worn out, and wishing I was in bed!
I was passing the camera shop, where I took this pic last week, and thought I'd call in, and have a look at their lenses. I hadn't realised that everything they sell is pre-digital! They have scores of amazing vintage cameras, the place is like a museum, but apparently they still sell, like hot-cakes, to photographers. I was absolutely amazed. The girl in the shop showed me all the film they had in stock, and said they sold so much Black & White that they couldn't get it in fast enough. Incredible![]()

Great to see you John and this Lamb.Good Morning Guardians
Quiet Halloween last night. We live out in the country and kids would rather stay in town where the houses are closer together and there are sidewalks. We haven't had Trick or Treaters in over 15 years. But that's okay we just stayed in and watched a glorious zombie movie starring Bill Murray called, "The Dead Don't Stay Dead"... worth a watch if you like silly zombie movies.
