Nice work Brian, that sounds greatThanks for the shout out! I actually happen to have a lot of both.
Speaking of recoversβ¦. I have a fun one in the works! A lambfoot I received from you will soon be sporting some vintage, U.K. made Tufnol canvas phenolic pulled from a shipβs rigging.![]()
Yeah, I always buy the expensive ones, but in this case, it didn't make any differenceEvening all,
They tasted good for my lunch, yep supermarkets are hit miss here too. Next time add some Tabasco & pepper on the tom's will enhance the flavour..
You have a good day.
Thanks Bob, we've had a good day togetherGlad you persevered Jack. Enjoy your walk with Schultz.![]()
Nicely lived-in-looking '18 JerThanks, but that was the end of thundercloud Thursday.

Great pics Steve
He's your man PaulThanks,Jack Black . Just sent Brian a PM. Appreciate the tip, my friend.
I'm grateful for the tip my friendIβve been meaning to get some of that Lao Gan Ma to try myself and compare to the Momofuku.
Yeah, that's Cockneys for you mate, they think everything's the Dog's!Holy hyperbole, Batman!βThe best product in the worldβ has to be a hard claim to live up to, even it if it really tasty. Itβs like when everyone raves about a movie so much that it ends up being a bit disappointing when you eventually see it.
Thanks mate, it's left me a bit shell-shocked, but with a quiet satisfactionGlad to hear you finished with your project, Jack. Must be a relief, even if you still face catching up with everything else. Schultz is looking good.![]()

Love that pic Dwight!
Absolutely. I've been trying them all LOL! Wrights does one with their English jack frame that is just awesome. (Slim Barlow/English jack)Does a lambsfoot work in a non-swayback pattern?
This is a roundabout way to say, I love the idea of a lambsfoot, but I donβt love the feel of the swayback type knives Iβve tried (except the case SBJ which is so small that it worksβ¦ and that blade is really more of a wharncliffe anyway.) Apologies if this question has been thoroughly covered already in this thread, feel free to direct me appropriately.
Thank you, Cudgee.Love your lamb, great looking wood
Thank you, Jack.Looking great John
Thank you for the help and thank youHe's your man Paul![]()

Good to hear you'll be back to lolligagging. Schultz is looking goodGood morning Guardians, Friday dawns at Grumble Towers, and my work project is completeThat leaves me with a load of stuff that I put aside to get it done, but I can take things a bit more easily now, and hopefully my world of naps and lollygagging will soon return

I hope everyone else has made it through the week OK, including our hard-working regulars, who have their noses to the grindstone more regularly than I do these days
I have Schultz in my pocket today, and hopefully, we can march down to Charlie's for a coffee later
Have a good day Guardians, the weekend is almost here
