Good morning Guardians. I tried for an Albers on Monday. No luck. I think I need to use Apple Pay or Google. I’m using Pay Pal. I do enjoy the excitement of trying though. And I admire pictures of them from behind my ipad. Here’s my K’roo which I never tire of carrying. Got some good rain last evening.

I noticed Henderson's was on offer in the supermarket yesterday, but I'm glad I didn't buy a bottle, as it turned out I already had three in the cupboard! :D Mind you, the 'best before' date on them is still several years hence! :D There is a 'money back guarantee' now! Are they joking?! 🤣 😉 :thumbsup:

I received this one today, an SFO for a UK dealer, of rather obvious provenance 🤫 I reckon I could even guess who did that edge :rolleyes: Blade is only a fraction off-centre, not really noticeable. Fit and finish are decent, apart from the edge. Pull is VERY strong :thumbsup:

You guys were giving me a slight case of swedge envy. So I did a little grinding this morning.
It came out well, simple job, just couldn't get the camera to focus quite right on the swedge. I'll get a couple more shots later for the food thread while I'm prepping some chili.🤤

Definitely :) My ex-girlfriend didn't like it, for some reason, but she's gone, and I have the DVD to watch anytime I want! 🤣:thumbsup:

That sounds a bit sinister, considering the movie we’re talking about. 😲🌽🤣

It's cold, wet, and dark here in not so sunny Yorkshire, and I thought some Mediterranean food might be just what the doctor ordered ;) It also gave me a chance to try out a new chilli product for Barrett, the King of Condiments :D Barrett had sent me some delicious Chilli Crunch a while back, but my local chill shop have failed to get hold of any. The feller in the shop recommended something else though, which he said was his biggest seller. He did, however, give me dire warnings that I should only use the tiniest amount. I thought I'd add some to the patatas bravas, while I was frying the potatoes (which I'd also coated with smoked paprika, black pepper, and Tony Cachere's Louisiana Seasoning - Bam! :D), and I added a bit more to the sauce. I'm certainly no asbestos mouth, but I think the bloke in the shop exaggerated. The jury is till out, but if it's any good, I'll pick you up a jar Barrett :thumbsup:

Nice looking little feast there, Jack! Sorry you haven’t been able to get ahold of the Chili Crunch. Hope that new one turns out to be good.

I think I’ve mentioned this before (in fact, I’m sure I have, as I already had this pic on my Imgur account), but this Lao Gan Ma Chili Crisp is supposed to be the standard for that type of thing. Should be much more widely available (and has been around a lot longer) than the Momofuku Chili Crunch. That said, I’ve never actually tried it myself, so I can’t say how it compares.

😀 bet you still enjoyed 😉 there areca few ready to pick, more importantly the chilli's are coming along .wet here this morning heavy showers.
