Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Back in the days of hob-nailed boots, Blakey's of Leeds, and their iconic 'segs' were famous throughout the British Empire, and they were still famous in Britain when me and Tool Man were lads. Blakey's are still made, but they moved out of Yorkshire nearly a decade ago. Ex-Para Steve is always finding interesting things on the market, and a couple of weeks back, he purchased this unique brass key fob. After much prompting, he very generously gave it to Tool Man last week. Pretty cool I think, particularly for a Leeds Lad

As well as being thankful for getting in out of the cold, I'm grateful for all the great friends I've made here, and for the continued rise of the Lambsfoot :)

That’s a cool little piece of history, Jack.

I think I can speak on behalf of all the Guardians and say we’re thankful for you and all that you do here.:thumbsup:

I just watched the first two episodes of Fargo

How do you like it so far? Julie and I watched the first two episodes as well over the last couple nights. Seems like it might be a good season.

I'm getting the band back together! 🤣

Hey, an instrument I could actually play a tune on! (Though not a very good one at this point, I’m afraid.)

LOL! :D Sounds good Gus  Tool Man thought it was a trombone, I said I thought it was a flugelhorn! Obviously, we haven't got a clue! 🤣

It’s a few feet short of a trombone! 🤣

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone is well, and that our US members had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Friday is reason enough to celebrate for the rest of us! :D I have a full schedule today, but don't think I'll be able to get everything done that I want to  Have a great day Guardians, and safe travels to those who are going to be on the road

The grain on your Afzelia Burl Albers is looking fantastic there, Jack!

Watched my nephew play his last game of the season. UNM lost a nail-biting game to Utah State in double overtime 😔. I had a great time an my son had fun messing around with the mascot 😆 🤣 😂. Carried the HHB again.

Sorry they lost the game, but I’m glad you were able to be there, and it looks like y’all had a good time.

Now that Thanksgiving is past us, I don’t feel bad starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and we’ve got family coming up to stay with us this year, so we’ve got a bit of decorating to do, as well as a lot of tidying. 🤣

We’re going to get the Christmas trees out tomorrow (trees plural, because when we moved from Arizona to Minnesota we had to downsize from one large Christmas tree to two smaller ones). In my opinion you can’t decorate the Christmas tree without a Christmas movie on, which means I had to get my Christmas movie list ready. I make one of these every year and mark off movies as we watch them. Last year was the first year I was able to mark them all off.

As you can see, it’s a bit of a hodgepodge of actually-good Christmas movies, some nostalgic favorites, stuff the wife and kids like, and a few guilty pleasures. 😁 Do any of you Guardians have a favorite Christmas movie?

It was already in my pocket from yesterday... and the day before... and the day before... 🤣

Went to a Crew Cup yesterday, first one I've tried, it was weird and we did horribly. 🤣

A great start for a great day. 🤠
Thanks John. 😎👍
Morning Guardians! It's cold dreary and light rain. Good day to stay in by the fire. Kat will be keeping me company.

I only realised, when I was looking for a link, that I had never seen a full episode, I don't think! :D Kinda weird! :D I thought por Tom Baker fans might enjoy the clip ;)
Without a doubt. We sometimes have to let people know that we appreciate all they do for us, busy lives and all the other stuff makes us forget sometimes. 🥰 🥰 🥰
😊
The last post on here is from almost seven hours ago! From JohnDF JohnDF who is in the same time zone as me! C'mon Guardians around the world - we were at the very bottom of the front page!

Here's the pile side of a beautiful lambsfoot knife. Let's see some pile side pics!

Die hard & lethal Weapon. 😉
My eldest loves the Grinch & home alone.
I've seen the grinch so many times🫨
I've never seen The Grinch! I only saw Bad Santa a few years ago! 🤣

Good morning Guardians, thanks to Tyson and Mitch for keep the Good Ship Guardian afloat 🏅🥇I hope that everyone is having a great weekend :) After meeting up with Matt, and his family, in Charlie's for breakfast, we went into town, so the kids could see the Christmas lights, and had a look round one of the museums. They wanted to go shopping, so me and Matt sneaked off for a couple of pints. By chance, we bumped into Brother Tony, and his missus, Louise, so after Matt went off to catch up with his dad, I went for something to eat with Tony and Louise, and then for another couple of pints. It was cold all day here yesterday, but in the afternoon, it got noticeably colder, and I was near frozen by the time I got in! 🥶 I'm surprised I didn't wake up to snow! ⛄It's 32f right now, and I'm glad I have plenty to do in the house! ;) The weather-folks are forecasting snow for later in the week, but we'll see
