Back in the days of hob-nailed boots, Blakey's of Leeds, and their iconic 'segs' were famous throughout the British Empire, and they were still famous in Britain when me and Tool Man were lads. Blakey's are still made, but they moved out of Yorkshire nearly a decade ago. Ex-Para Steve is always finding interesting things on the market, and a couple of weeks back, he purchased this unique brass key fob. After much prompting, he very generously gave it to Tool Man last week. Pretty cool I think, particularly for a Leeds Lad![]()

As well as being thankful for getting in out of the cold, I'm grateful for all the great friends I've made here, and for the continued rise of the Lambsfoot![]()

I just watched the first two episodes of Fargo![]()
I'm getting the band back together!

LOL!Sounds good Gus
Tool Man thought it was a trombone, I said I thought it was a flugelhorn! Obviously, we haven't got a clue!

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone is well, and that our US members had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Friday is reason enough to celebrate for the rest of us!I have a full schedule today, but don't think I'll be able to get everything done that I want to
Have a great day Guardians, and safe travels to those who are going to be on the road

Watched my nephew play his last game of the season. UNM lost a nail-biting game to Utah State in double overtime. I had a great time an my son had fun messing around with the mascot

It’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for me Barrett. That’s a cool little piece of history, Jack.
I think I can speak on behalf of all the Guardians and say we’re thankful for you and all that you do here.
How do you like it so far? Julie and I watched the first two episodes as well over the last couple nights. Seems like it might be a good season.
Hey, an instrument I could actually play a tune on! (Though not a very good one at this point, I’m afraid.)
It’s a few feet short of a trombone!
The grain on your Afzelia Burl Albers is looking fantastic there, Jack!
Sorry they lost the game, but I’m glad you were able to be there, and it looks like y’all had a good time.
Now that Thanksgiving is past us, I don’t feel bad starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and we’ve got family coming up to stay with us this year, so we’ve got a bit of decorating to do, as well as a lot of tidying.
We’re going to get the Christmas trees out tomorrow (trees plural, because when we moved from Arizona to Minnesota we had to downsize from one large Christmas tree to two smaller ones). In my opinion you can’t decorate the Christmas tree without a Christmas movie on, which means I had to get my Christmas movie list ready. I make one of these every year and mark off movies as we watch them. Last year was the first year I was able to mark them all off.

As you can see, it’s a bit of a hodgepodge of actually-good Christmas movies, some nostalgic favorites, stuff the wife and kids like, and a few guilty pleasures.Do any of you Guardians have a favorite Christmas movie?
