Not so bad where I live, but a few years ago, about a mile away, a perfect storm of Mischief Night, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Diwali, and a robbery at a local fireworks factory came together to make a perfect storm of mayhem - the cops eventually withdrew from the area! :eek:

I hope we don't see any darkness in this thread Joshua, nor anywhere else on The Porch. I dare say that among our members there are many diverse political and religious views - hence the sub-forum guidelines - and if folks want to argue about politics or religion there are places on BF they can do that. We've always had a very nice atmosphere in this thread, and I'd like to keep it amiable, pleasant, and respectful :thumbsup:
