Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Tomorrow, being Thursday, I shall be making my weekly pilgrimage to Leeds Market, where my newly-married pal (and recent Lambsfoot recipient) Paul, will be purveying quality second-hand tools to the good people of Leeds, as per usual. Also, as usual, I don't expect to find any knives unfortunately, the days when I might find a quality Sheffield Lambsfoot at a reasonable price, are sadly long gone, and probably forever :( I'm sure I will, however, have a pleasant enough time, chewing the fat, telling jokes, and eating the odd pie - while pretending to help out by passing the odd carrier-bag in the direction of any sales which occur ;)

The skools are out at the moment here, for half-term, and so later in the morning, I have arranged to meet up with another friend, and his three young kids, to visit the Royal Armouries museum in Leeds - https://royalarmouries.org/

I'll be carrying my Ashley's Choice again :) Hope everyone is having a good week, it'll soon be the weekend ;)

I hope we don't see any darkness in this thread Joshua, nor anywhere else on The Porch. I dare say that among our members there are many diverse political and religious views - hence the sub-forum guidelines - and if folks want to argue about politics or religion there are places on BF they can do that. We've always had a very nice atmosphere in this thread, and I'd like to keep it amiable, pleasant, and respectful

That's fine with me. I wasn't looking for an argument so much as venting my spleen, which isn't necessary or desired. I'll keep it cozy. Thanks for the gentle rebuke.

Congrats! I'm about 5 Weeks out until my daughter arrives!

Great stuff Taylor :)

I think we've all made posts that we might reflect on Joshua. The edit button means their impact can be short-lived. I didn't make the sub-forum guidelines, but I do respect them, and I'd rather that our hard-working mods only stepped in here to comment or post pics of their knives, rather than to deal with arguments unnecessarily provoked, with the risk of seeing this thread locked. Personally, I don't want to be rebuking people, I just care about this thread, and the folks who post here

Out enjoying a cigar on my lunch hour in honour of my second grandchild, Eleanor Ann, born yesterday, the 58th anniversary of my baptism.
There is actually a thread for folks to post pics of themselves and their families in :) Obviously all the young, good-looking folks hogged it! :p ;)
Congrats on the new granddaughter, PJohn!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool::)
