I've always loved ginger Leon, in all its forms :) Great choice for Christmas mate, they are definitely a treat :) Got a pack of McVities Ginger Nuts in with my groceries yesterday ;) :D
I am going to have to try some beans and toast some time. What kind of beans do you use? Wondering if we have an equivalent here in the US.
I don't know if it's true, but Heinz claim to have invented the dish in 1927 :D Heinz beans have got a bit watery here in the past few years unfortunately, so I've switched to another brand (Branston), but I know recipes change slightly from country to country anyway. Give them a try, you'll never go back! :D ;)

Looking good Mitch, you seem to be getting a great crop this year :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I think we are set to get up into the high 30s here today, and I notice some of the snow has melted. I'm going to continue to rest my ankle though, as I have more than enough to do indoors. I wouldn't be able to walk very far anyway, certainly not as far as Charlie's  Got my Albert Oates Sheldon Lambsfoot with me today - Thanks Kevin seas165 seas165 :) Hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians

Thanks Jack...we had a steady rain, so enjoyed the indoors.
I am just finishing up KILLING THE WITCHES by Bill O'Reilly. It is good but don't know if I would recommend it. A third of the book dealt with the witch hunts, then moved on.
Glad you can rest your ankle Jack.

Great grain !
Thanks!
Great-looking Lamb David :)

Sounds interesting Bob, I remember you mentioning it before. You can never tell though can you, I was looking forward to reading a book on the English Civil War a while back, but the author was all over the place  I just sat down to read a hard-copy manual for my new compact camera, printed from PDF, but it turned out that, instead of the manual for the Canon PowerShot XS740HS, they had sent me the manual for the Canon PowerShot XS40HS
Thanks Jack!

Thanks a lot pal, I'll keep resting it today :) How're you doing? I'm enjoying the Sheldon Lamb, it's really useful, and very nicely made. I don't know why these knives, which were once popular tradesman's knives over here, ever slipped out of fashion. Thinking about it, they probably lost out to box-cutters, which is a crying shame :(

That Sheldon is in great shape ! ๐Ÿ‘

Morning Guardians! Have to go talk to HR this morning. Don't think I'll be able to work in my condition at the moment. Then need to make a doctor appointment for follow up care. The ER doc told me it's going to take some time for me to get better. He said you didn't get in this condition over night. It will take some time for you to recover. He basically told me I didn't understand how bad of shape I was in. He's is right I didn't understand at the moment. But it's starting to sink in to my thick skull. ๐Ÿ˜ I'm at peace about everything at the moment. Got a Sheldon Lamb today to back Jack up. :thumbsup:๐Ÿค

Thanks for the update David, I hope you're going to get looked after while you recover buddy  Thanks for the back-up, these Sheldons are cool knives. I was intending to get one made up as an SFO, with liners, and wood covers, but...If wishes were horses, beggars would ride! ;)
