Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That's a beautiful shot my friend :)

Wow, that pile-side stag looks even better!

Thanks Jack !
Good morning Guardians, it sure was cold here last night, but Grumble Towers was like Bali! :D I wasn't surprised when I woke up to a few inches of snow. I have a grocery delivery booked for this afternoon, so I hope the guy can get up the street! 🥶 I hope everyone is having a more exciting weekend than I am, (though I'm not complaining), and that you have a relaxing and restful Sunday :) Warming my hands on some Waboom wood today, though I better not do any Wabooming! 🤣;)

Nice pic Jack, you rest that ankle up !

I was going to have Baked Beans on Toast for lunch, but since I could do with losing a few (dozen) pounds, Nouvelle Cuisine has made an appearance at Grumble Towers, in the form of Bean on Crumb! ;)😀

Yup...must make sure that speedo bathing suit fits Jack. 😃

;)Great outdoor pictures, Steve and Dwight.
Thank you Neal. :)
Sorry I been absent lately but I been very ill.
Thoughts and prayers David. May you quickly recover.
Mini Stonehenge? Always enjoy all the lambs venturing outside.
Very nice Dwight.
;)
Pile side to get ready for Sunday
Magnificent stag all the way around Steve.
Great shot Dwight!
Thanks Mitch. :)

A pleasure Steve, just trying out my new pocket camera for the first time :) With the strong sunshine, I would have definitely messed around with the settings a bit more, rather than leaving it on auto, but I didn't want to be rude to Eve, particularly as it's an issue we both have with her mother! :D I'm still undecided about which camera/s to take with me to Lanzarote. Obviously, if I had more sense, I'd just buy a better phone! 😖😂

That's a beautiful shot my friend :)

Thanks Dwight, it's definitely less painful than it was on Friday :)

Thanks pal, it's great to see you here :) As you know, the Barlow name is not uncommon in Sheffield, but that is definitely the right Furness clan. Nice people too :) My Uncle Terry and Auntie Joan wanted a boy to continue the name, but ended up with 5 girls, (all redheads)! :D Fortunately, Terry had brothers. The pub was built in 1804, and operated until 2011, when it became a residential building. A sad loss in my opinion, but at least the building still stands. I had a good mate who was from Stannington, where there were a lot of good, old-fashioned pubs, (including at least 3 others associated with the Stannington Barlow cutlers), and we visited them regularly ;)

Thank you Dwight, we had a nice time, though I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat the journey with that driver! :D

Wonderful shot of that lovely old knife :)

Thanks buddy :D I can remember my mother telling me about the petrifying well as a kid, not a place to lose your Lambsfoot! I have a few of the smaller Chesterman spirit-levels, but was very pleased to find the military issue Marples :) Cool pic there, two interesting and useful-looking tools my friend :)

Really sorry to hear this David :( I hope that you're on the mend soon, Kat is good company :)

🤣🤣

Definitely :)

Please keep us posted David

That looks very functional Mitch (as does your Lamb) I had to use one of mine to get about the house the other night

Wow, you all did a great job of the tree Paul :) Looking very seasonal there :) Since I won't be here at Christmas, I'll be absenting myself from most of the decorating :D I hope you enjoyed the movie, was pretty impressive on the big screen

Nice 😋 That's a great pic

Lovely composition of your Waboom.

Just before we set off back from Matlock, the other day, I asked Eve if she wanted a snack for on the coach, cautioning her that you never knew what was going to happen in the Friday rush-hour, and with a driver who had no sense of direction! She insisted she was OK, while I bought a sausage roll, but I managed to talk her into a gingerbread man, which came in a twin pack. I had my sausage roll, but the gingerbread men were forgotten about, and last night, I thought I'd ask Eve if she'd enjoyed them. It turned out they were in my bag, not hers! :D ;) Sadly the ginger twins drowned in a large mug of Yorkshire tea today :D

Thank you, Jack. My wife is a Christmas person. She would take it to 11 if she could 🤣🤣.

The movie was amazing. The way it was filmed was really awesome. I enjoyed it. My wife and my oldest son fell asleep.
