Good morning Guardians, it sure was cold here last night, but Grumble Towers was like Bali!I wasn't surprised when I woke up to a few inches of snow. I have a grocery delivery booked for this afternoon, so I hope the guy can get up the street!
I hope everyone is having a more exciting weekend than I am, (though I'm not complaining), and that you have a relaxing and restful Sunday
Warming my hands on some Waboom wood today, though I better not do any Wabooming!

Yup...must make sure that speedo bathing suit fits Jack.I was going to have Baked Beans on Toast for lunch, but since I could do with losing a few (dozen) pounds, Nouvelle Cuisine has made an appearance at Grumble Towers, in the form of Bean on Crumb!

That's a shameSorry that I can't upload the pic

Thank you Neal.Great outdoor pictures, Steve and Dwight.
Thoughts and prayers David. May you quickly recover.Sorry I been absent lately but I been very ill.
Mini Stonehenge? Always enjoy all the lambs venturing outside.
Very nice Dwight.
Magnificent stag all the way around Steve.Pile side to get ready for Sunday
Thanks Mitch.Great shot Dwight!
Lovely composition of your Waboom.A pleasure Steve, just trying out my new pocket camera for the first timeWith the strong sunshine, I would have definitely messed around with the settings a bit more, rather than leaving it on auto, but I didn't want to be rude to Eve, particularly as it's an issue we both have with her mother!
I'm still undecided about which camera/s to take with me to Lanzarote. Obviously, if I had more sense, I'd just buy a better phone!

Thanks Dwight, it's definitely less painful than it was on Friday![]()
Thanks pal, it's great to see you hereAs you know, the Barlow name is not uncommon in Sheffield, but that is definitely the right Furness clan. Nice people too
My Uncle Terry and Auntie Joan wanted a boy to continue the name, but ended up with 5 girls, (all redheads)!
Fortunately, Terry had brothers. The pub was built in 1804, and operated until 2011, when it became a residential building. A sad loss in my opinion, but at least the building still stands. I had a good mate who was from Stannington, where there were a lot of good, old-fashioned pubs, (including at least 3 others associated with the Stannington Barlow cutlers), and we visited them regularly

Thanks Dwight. Its appreciated.Thoughts and prayers David. May you quickly recover.
Nice pic and excellent Lamb! Really liked that IXL yesterday!
Be careful with that WaBoooooooooom. Dont want you to hurt your other ankle buddy!Just before we set off back from Matlock, the other day, I asked Eve if she wanted a snack for on the coach, cautioning her that you never knew what was going to happen in the Friday rush-hour, and with a driver who had no sense of direction! She insisted she was OK, while I bought a sausage roll, but I managed to talk her into a gingerbread man, which came in a twin pack. I had my sausage roll, but the gingerbread men were forgotten about, and last night, I thought I'd ask Eve if she'd enjoyed them. It turned out they were in my bag, not hers!

Sadly the ginger twins drowned in a large mug of Yorkshire tea today
