David, I hope you are on the mend and wish you a fast recovery.
Thoughts will be with you. You chose a good lamb to have as a pocket fidget.👍🏻🙏

Function then form...though I'm sure you would rather not need it at all Mitch. Jb is looking good.👌
🙂
True Bob, I can get away without gardening and doing things I usually know about it by the end of the day or tired and drag my leg, Kristy pointed it out a few years ago and suggested I use 1 of my collection always liked walking, don't turn real well either 🙄 I tell em I don't need 1. But the youngest says sure & does an impression of me walking I'm sure she has me mistaken for quasimodo 🤣🤣
Is that a new Avatar as well, or am i going silly???? o_O o_O o_O
😮
Yeah it is mate same hat different knife, been playing with the phone camera.

I made some Chorizo al Vino Tinto and paired it with a color-matched lamb. ¡Buen provecho!

Thanks for the pictures Jack ! 👍
A pleasure Steve, just trying out my new pocket camera for the first time :) With the strong sunshine, I would have definitely messed around with the settings a bit more, rather than leaving it on auto, but I didn't want to be rude to Eve, particularly as it's an issue we both have with her mother! :D I'm still undecided about which camera/s to take with me to Lanzarote. Obviously, if I had more sense, I'd just buy a better phone! 😖😂
Good afternoon all !

carrying some stag today

That's a beautiful shot my friend :)
Jack Black Jack Black
Sorry to hear about your ankle misfortune Jack. :( Hopefully a speedy recovery.
Thanks Dwight, it's definitely less painful than it was on Friday :)
Great old picture Jack, and interesting to hear of the Furness and Barlow family connections. Is that building still intact?
Thanks pal, it's great to see you here :) As you know, the Barlow name is not uncommon in Sheffield, but that is definitely the right Furness clan. Nice people too :) My Uncle Terry and Auntie Joan wanted a boy to continue the name, but ended up with 5 girls, (all redheads)! :D Fortunately, Terry had brothers. The pub was built in 1804, and operated until 2011, when it became a residential building. A sad loss in my opinion, but at least the building still stands. I had a good mate who was from Stannington, where there were a lot of good, old-fashioned pubs, (including at least 3 others associated with the Stannington Barlow cutlers), and we visited them regularly ;)

Sounds like a great day out with Eve Jack! Beautiful pics.
Thank you Dwight, we had a nice time, though I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat the journey with that driver! :D
Wonderful shot of that lovely old knife :)
Wonderful pictures and good to know that you had a lovely day out with Eve. I hope those fish aren't swimming in the "Petrifying Well". :)
Nice knife sitting on a nice old level. Neat to see the Broad Arrow and 1944 date markings.

Thanks buddy :D I can remember my mother telling me about the petrifying well as a kid, not a place to lose your Lambsfoot! I have a few of the smaller Chesterman spirit-levels, but was very pleased to find the military issue Marples :) Cool pic there, two interesting and useful-looking tools my friend :)

Wow, you all did a great job of the tree Paul :) Looking very seasonal there :) Since I won't be here at Christmas, I'll be absenting myself from most of the decorating :D I hope you enjoyed the movie, was pretty impressive on the big screen

Nice 😋 That's a great pic

Good morning Guardians, it sure was cold here last night, but Grumble Towers was like Bali! :D I wasn't surprised when I woke up to a few inches of snow. I have a grocery delivery booked for this afternoon, so I hope the guy can get up the street! 🥶 I hope everyone is having a more exciting weekend than I am, (though I'm not complaining), and that you have a relaxing and restful Sunday :) Warming my hands on some Waboom wood today, though I better not do any Wabooming! 🤣;)

Jack put your feet up and rest that leg up.
Nice knife stick combo 👍

Will do buddy :) THanks :)
That reminds me of Simon and Gar Farkel, the twins.
LOL! :D I have known my mate Wolfie, nearly 22 years, and have never seen him with anything other than a shaved head. However, a mutual friend had seen a photo of him, aged 14, and said he had both the hair, and the hairline of Art Garfunkel! 🤣 Fortunately his kids take after their mom! :D

Speaking of twins though, I don't know if you ever saw The League of Gentlemen (kind of suspect you might have), and the creepy twins? They are Wolfie's nieces! :D

I was thinking I had seen it, but I've confused it with Little Britain.

I'll be back with pictures. It's almost time to joyfully drag myself to church in the dark.
At least it remains unseasonably warm.😃
I was trying to find a YouTube clip of the twins, but had some difficulty. The series is much, much better than Little Britain, but very er...strange! :D Most of it was filmed not too far from me, in fact a friend of mine was paid for his house being in some shots

Glad Jack Frost hasn't visited yet Jer ;)

Breakfast in Bali , Uluwatu.

[sorry pics will not upload, Says file to large.]

When will this get fixed?
