A pleasure Steve, just trying out my new pocket camera for the first time

With the strong sunshine, I would have definitely messed around with the settings a bit more, rather than leaving it on auto, but I didn't want to be rude to Eve, particularly as it's an issue we both have with her mother!

I'm still undecided about which camera/s to take with me to Lanzarote. Obviously, if I had more sense, I'd just buy a better phone!

That's a beautiful shot my friend
Thanks Dwight, it's definitely less painful than it was on Friday
Thanks pal, it's great to see you here

As you know, the Barlow name is not uncommon in Sheffield, but that is definitely the right Furness clan. Nice people too

My Uncle Terry and Auntie Joan wanted a boy to continue the name, but ended up with 5 girls, (all redheads)!

Fortunately, Terry had brothers. The pub was built in 1804, and operated until 2011, when it became a residential building. A sad loss in my opinion, but at least the building still stands. I had a good mate who was from Stannington, where there were a lot of good, old-fashioned pubs, (including at least 3 others associated with the Stannington Barlow cutlers), and we visited them regularly
Thank you Dwight, we had a nice time, though I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat the journey with that driver!
Wonderful shot of that lovely old knife
Thanks buddy

I can remember my mother telling me about the petrifying well as a kid, not a place to lose your Lambsfoot!

I have a few of the smaller Chesterman spirit-levels, but was very pleased to find the military issue Marples

Cool pic there, two interesting and useful-looking tools my friend
Really sorry to hear this David

I hope that you're on the mend soon, Kat is good company

Definitely
Wow, that pile-side stag looks even better!
Please keep us posted David
That looks very functional Mitch (as does your Lamb)

I had to use one of mine to get about the house the other night
Wow, you all did a great job of the tree Paul

Looking very seasonal there

Since I won't be here at Christmas, I'll be absenting myself from most of the decorating

I hope you enjoyed the movie, was pretty impressive on the big screen
Nice

That's a great pic
Good morning Guardians, it sure was cold here last night, but Grumble Towers was like Bali!

I wasn't surprised when I woke up to a few inches of snow. I have a grocery delivery booked for this afternoon, so I hope the guy can get up the street!

I hope everyone is having a more exciting weekend than I am, (though I'm not complaining), and that you have a relaxing and restful Sunday

Warming my hands on some Waboom wood today, though I better not do any Wabooming!
