Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I'm not surprised Mitch, Australia and New Zealand were Burgon & Ball's biggest markets, by far. Even in Sheffield, there were people who had never even heard of the firm, but I understand they were very well-regarded over there.

Oh no Steve, I sure hope you find it mate 😱 Maybe take one of those magnets on a extendable car-ariel type stick out with you, so you can search through the grass? Over the years, many folks have posted on the The Porch about losing a knife, but 95% turn up. I really hope that is the case with your IXL πŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ‘

I'm feeling sick just thinking about Steve's knife β˜ΉοΈπŸ‘

Cool pic Barrett 😊 Cheers buddy πŸ‘

Lunch looks nice Mitch πŸ˜‹ Better than the thought of that shopping! πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
Wow I thought they would be well known in Sheffield.
Yeah the lunch was good. The shopping had to be doneπŸ™‚

Have a fantastic holiday trip, Jack!

The last few weeks have been full of ups and downs: a wonderful trip to celebrate Mom's 90th, a bout of covid, and the loss of the sweetest cat I've known.

My condolences.
I was lucky with the death of my best cat ever. I was in Japan when it happened. (Shoki was in Michigan). Almost 40 years ago.

It upsets me when restaurants do this. Don't they realize how important pizza is? Why take the best food group and put it in such a precarious position?

Whether it's on a crowded table or in my belly - I can always make room for pizza! No aerial acrobatics required!

My one and only lamb, my favourite pattern for poking about in the paddock and general work.

Just gotta say that every time I read, or hear, the word "paddock," I immediately think "Quiet, all of you! They're approaching the Tyrannosaur paddock!" 🀣

Good morning Guardians. Very brisk and sunny this morning here in southern coastal NC. Expecting big storms to roll in tomorrow - lots of wind and rain. Up to 6 inches. An indoor sort of day I reckon. Going out for my stroll around the neighborhood and last minute shopping - I always wait until the last minute.πŸ˜†

You'd think so, wouldn't you?

They are situated about a quarter of a mile from where the famous Mousehole Forge stood

There are certain standards in the Royal Elite lounge, I'll have you know! πŸ§πŸ˜‚ I won't be spending too much time on the beach Mitch, and I probably won't need much sunscreen at this time of year, but the weather looks a lot nicer than over here! :D I've got a few trips organised, including one to the Timanfaya National Park, where the sand can definitely be hot! :D

Thank you, Jack. I sure do miss her, but that's the price we pay for the years together.

Mom's birthday party really was wonderful! Lots of friends and family showed up. Good food, drink, and Covid was shared. 😏 Also worth it, I suppose.

I barely slept a wink last night but I did have a dream that I found it 😲

:woohoo:

Found it
:ahhh

You guys are not going to believe it but it was still sitting on top of the branch where I took the picture yesterday. I was distracted at the time by people coming down the trail with a dog. Cassie was off leash and I was focused on rounding her up. I just forgot to grab it up before moving on.

I brought a magnetic pickup tool but didn't need it. Thankfully with the rain not many people had walked by that spot. It must not have been windy last night as it was precariously perched atop that branch.

Lamb was a bit damp and cold but none the worse of wear from it's night out in the elements πŸ‘

I bet you do Rachel, it's the saddest thing about having pets :( I'm sure you have many happy memories :) That's another great pic :) Apart from the Covid, that sounds like a wonderful event. I think I caught it at a funeral a few months back! I hope your mum got lots of vegan treats :) A few years back, I was having some internet woes at home, and took to going up to a big local pub, with my Ipad, and getting a coffee. There was a private event there on one occasion, and the bar-staff told me it was an old gentleman's 90th birthday party. Soon after, I went to the bathroom, and as I opened the door, there was a little old man. I said, "You must be the birthday boy." He told me the party was a surprise, he thought he was just having lunch with his daughter, but old friends and relatives had come from all over. He then added, "I'm glad you came in, I haven't been able to get out!" It turned out that a couple of family members had escorted him to the bathroom, and left him to it, but he wasn't strong enough to open the door to get back out!

Glad it was still there buddy! Once again mom was right. She use to always tell me when couldn't find something "it's right where you left it." 🀠
