I carry a lambsfoot...

... because those waffles aren’t going to trim themselves! :D

How ‘bout you?
Excellent reasoning :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good Mornin' Guardians!

Thanks, Kevin! that's a fine buffalo golden and dark horn.:thumbsup: Is the pile side similar?
Hey, Dave. The pile side has a bit more dark than golden but still just as lovely, imho.

I just want to take a second to thank Jack Black Jack Black for not only starting this great thread and The Guardians of The Lambsfoot but for me and I believe many others here introducing us to the Lambsfoot. I had never had one in my hand before Jack so generously sent me one and from the pictures posted here I feel Jack has sent these to a lot of the folks here. So if Jack sent you a Lambsfoot how about posting a thank you to the old boy here. THANKS AGAIN JACK!!
That's a good looking Lambs foot, Randy. I like to joke that " it's all Jack's fault". He is most certainly responsible for my appreciation for the Lambsfoot pattern. This is a pic of the first Lambsfoot that Jack sent my way.
Thank you, Jack!
I hope you had time for that pint and pie before the movie.

I like the golden, when I first received mine, I was disappointed wanting a black horn, but that changed. I like that it's golden as you and I know we have black knives from here to eternity. :p

That's a beauty, Dave! I think natural materials grow on you, even if they don't instantly strike your fancy, at least for me they do.

Thank you! And, I found fresh baklava. Had gyros, spanakopita, and dolmades with Greek retsina wine. Wife and daughter had pastitio. Good Greek music and saw several friends there. Great time. Opa!

Sounds like a great (delicious) time!!!
There is a small Greek restaurant near me which is run by two generations of Greek family members and is only open for lunch.
Wonderful food and fun to hear them speaking Greek behind the counter.

HP Sauce is now made in the Netherlands by Heinz. I haven't tasted it in 40 years, so I know I'll notice a difference. There's also a recipe online to make your own.
Blackadder is still as smooth as glass where the wood meets the metal.

Not my cat. I shudder to think what they may have done to make it hold still for the silly spectacles.

Is that right? Mind you, I think it is a good 20 years since I last tasted it myself. My ebony '18 is the same Jer, really buttery smooth, it's a feature folk often admire when they're taking a look at it

Mornin to you all. Raining here and cool. :) Love it when we have your weather Jack.
Headed south to spend a couple days with the kids and grands. Hope you all have a great weekend.View attachment 1014568

Hope you have a fantastic time Dwight :) Yet another fine pic of your AC there :)

My picture today.

Thank you Randy, you are very kind, and that's a great pic of your rosewood Lambsfoot :)

Wish they would show that film here.
That poster looks so 1968ish!

I suspect it'll be on YouTube in 6 months Vince. It was OK, but not really a great piece of film-making I don't think, and unnecessarily long at 2 1/2 hours. I was glad I had a hipflask of Highland Park in my pocket ;)

The best thread on BladeForums! Well, my favorite, anyway. Love my stockmans and trappers, but the lambsfoot is really cool. And versatile. So far I only have a wee staggie (Ashley's Choice), and it gets a lot of pocket time. Thanks, Jack!

Thank you Vince :) It's great to have you here, and to see the Lambsfoot getting so much love :)

That looks great Kevin :) I'll have to get another oxhorn myself at one time. Mine only has the golden horn on the mark side, the pile side is pretty lacklustre. You have had that one a few years now my friend :) I did get a pie and a pint, and both were very good :)

Took a few pics of my Cracker Jack yesterday while waiting for the tiny air compressor I have to build up pressure so I could inflate my car tires, all 4 of which were super soft!:(

I've been using the Cracker Jack all week to help with food prep, and it's starting to get some patina, as seen in these photos taken in our city yard waste cart (I was also working on some leaf clean-up Saturday afternoon):

Gary why were your tires so underinflated, was the vehicle sitting a long time?

I'm not sure what's going on, Dave. The front left tire has been acting strangely for months, performing as expected for several weeks and then suddenly coming up nearly flat. Yesterday was the first time I noticed all of them very low. As you suggest (maybe??), I've been walking/busing to work, church, etc. and probably only had the car out to the grocery store (couple of miles away) once in the past 2 weeks. (Temperature has barely gone above 50˚F during that fortnight, which might also be a factor here with change of season.) Guess I'll go sleep on it now. :D
