Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack, I hope the helicopters weren't black!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_helicopter
You're guarding your ebony lambsfoot, while it guards your wooden swine.:thumbsup::D

Thanks, and same to you and your rosewood lambsfoot, Rachel!!:):)
(Yet another memo I apparently missed ...)

Thankfully not GT (well, one of them might have been)! Me and my neighbours are still trying to work out what was going on  The little pig is on a door-stop, I got it for a friend I was sending a package to, but it wouldn't fit in  Cracking shot of your Cracker Jack my friend

Thanks, Jack. That's a treetastic picture of your Ebony.
I'll be going to an Arbor Day party tonight, where we will eat Texas BBQ brisket, drink Shiner Beer, and plant/dedicate some trees. I have a friend in the neighborhood who likes to host events for obscure holidays. His Flag Day party in June is legendary. :D

Your A.C. is a cracker of a jack, indeed! :)

Thanks Rachel :) That sounds sounds like a fantastic evening, I always think food and drink tastes better after a little hard work, particularly when it's in a good cause

Never heard of it either. But I, like J.R.R. Tolkien, love trees!

Me too :) I'm lucky to live on a wide avenue, lined with mature trees of many types, which are all covered by a conservation order :)

They wouldn't do that!
Requisition, maybe- confiscate, maybe.

"I'm taking this sandwich in for forensic examination."
"Why?"
"Why? Because it might have been used as a weapon in a murder, that's why."

 o_O :D

View attachment 1013250 Have a great weekend Guardians! :)

Solid pic of your ebony '18 Ron  I hope the hospital vigil is going OK

Thought I'd show a pile side pic of my leather Lambsfoot :)

... I check the obituaries and also see who's been disbarred or suspended.
Does that make me morbid?
Morbid? No. Professionally up-to-date? You betcha! ;)

Grand photo, PJohn! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's one handsome stag lambsfoot, Ron!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Impressive, illustrious ironwood (?), Dwight!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. It only took about 19 shots to get both the Lambsfoot and Riley in frame. ;):D

Dave, a vacuum is of no use on my dust bunnies, I would have to use the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. ;):D
Jazzy shot of cloud chamber lambsfoot and canine, FBC!:cool::thumbsup:
Killer Holy Hand Grenade reference - so apt and natural!!:D:thumbsup:

...
Nice work Vince (and Kevin), and since you've now added a first name to your sig line, it's nice to be able to publicly address you by it my friend :)
Thanks for pointing that out, Jack!:thumbsup::)

Blessed are the peacemakers, Joshua!:thumbsup::cool: (The rules foster a certain asymmetry among various perspectives in this case, I think.)

Thanks for your remarks, Jack. :) Congrats on the remarkable package from Dylan!:cool::thumbsup: And when you cover your flat cap with those pins, the ramifications will be stylish! ;):thumbsup:

LOL GT! I recently finished rereading the entire Sherlock Holmes stories which I last read about 15 years ago. Fantastic stories! In regards to age though, it wasn't my memory that failed me, it was my reading vision....
And yes we've had several frosts, a couple of them really hard. ...
You've caught the colours on your Cracker Jack perfectly there
...
Thanks for your input, David. :) Coincidentally, I happened to check out Mycroft and Sherlock from the local library. It's written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, a former magnificently-skilled professional basketball player, and a co-author. I know nothing about the book, but my expectations are not high.;) My lambsfoot colors are somewhat "naturally enhanced" by late day sun rays shining horizontally on the knife. :)

My newest Barlow acquisition is this George Wostenholm IXL Lambsfoot. This knife needs cleaned, oiled and sharpened but other wise in great shape. Thank God the previous owner(s) never buffed it. Anyway I am including pictures of the tang stamps in case someone may know the date I know very little about these knives.
