Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day. I had a late night, but it didn't get messy! I listened to a violinist for a while, in one of the bars, watched a magic show in the theatre bar, and then watched a load of young people dancing to a Soul trio in the main concert area. In the theatre bar, they didn't have any decent whisky, so I asked for one of their mojitos and a rum. The mojitos were those weak half-frozen things. When the bartender asked what I wanted with the rum, I told her, "The mojito", and tipped the rum into it!
I thought I'd lost my reading specs when I woke up, but they'd fallen between the gap in the beds - a rather annoying feature of European hotel rooms, where they push two single beds together!
At least they're large single beds here, both wide and long I've managed to run out of Lansoprazole, so need to try and get some from the pharmacy. Hoping I can find one open, (they close for 3 hours in the afternoon), and that I don't get stung too much! I haven't decided whether to walk into town, or to get the courtesy bus or a taxi. I must have covered a few miles since I came to this hotel!
Hopefully, I won't have to do any boxing in Playa Blanca!

Nice, Todd! Schlafly is great. Used to go to their tap room when we’d drive up for Cardinals games (back when I lived in Arkansas).
My brother and his family recently moved to St. Louis for his work. They’re up visiting for Christmas, and he brought some Schlafly beer with him (as well as a koozie and patch that he gave me yesterday).
I thought I'd better post the second one, because it occured to me that only a few folks here have actually heard me speak!
As someone who has heard you speak, you did have me scratching my head for a minute with the first video.
I hope all you Guardians had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was pretty good, a full day of wild kiddos and cooking. Pulled pork and English roast potatoes turned out great. Tried a baked mac and cheese recipe for the first time, which didn’t turn out so well, but hey, you win some, you lose some.
Enjoyed a little peace and quiet after the girls went to bed. I’ve been working on my Lego Home Alone house off and on over the past couple days, and I finished it last night.
I figured the Afzelia Burl Albers (my KOTY) would be a good option for Christmas Day.

I have to say, they're not stingy with the booze here, but those frozen cocktails come read mixed, and need some stiffening up
They're absolutely lousy to be honest, but taste less lousy with a good slug of rum added I was teaching the bartender in the piano bar how to make a couple of cocktails. She didn't have all the ingredients, so I went upstairs to the Royal Elite Lounge, and picked them up there! Is the house full of traps? Home Alone 2 was the first film I took Ellie to see! I hadn't seen the first film at the time, and was surprised how violent it was, but she enjoyed the experience so much, she cried at the end because she didn't want it to end Thanks Bob, what a beauty
I walked along the cliffs to the Rubicon Marina, and tried obtaining some Lansoprazole in a couple of pharmacies there, but they didn't have any. They sold me a rather expensive alternative, but it's just an antacid really
Anyway, what am I doing set indoors when the sun is shining?!

Boxing Day is my favorite! After all the chaos, I want to stay in my pajamas all day, eat leftovers, and not talk to anyone. Perhaps a little online shopping...

I've been sat out on my balcony reading, and soaking up the sun
On the way back to my room, I had to pass through the buffet restaurant. I spotted a nice-looking dessert, and scooped one up on my way through. Turned out to be hummus!! I like hummus, but it came as a bit of a shock when I was expecting something sweet! 
Time for a beer I think
