For our friends across the ponds, happy boxing day.View attachment 2434911
I've been sat out on my balcony reading, and soaking up the sunOn the way back to my room, I had to pass through the buffet restaurant. I spotted a nice-looking dessert, and scooped one up on my way through. Turned out to be hummus!! I like hummus, but it came as a bit of a shock when I was expecting something sweet!
Time for a beer I think

Haha! Yes, I expect something like that is in order.Sounds like a great day to me! Perhaps an online knife store as a boxed present to myself.
Enjoy the peace R8shell.

At a dimly lit Steak and Ale restaurant in Houston in the 1970's, I put three or four packets of sugar in my iced tea--only it wasn't sugar, it was "Sweet and Low" (disgusting sugar substitute). Nasty stuff! It can be quite the shock when we taste something expecting another. When I was a boy we were at a picnic and a grabbed what I thought was a grape, turned out to be an olive![]()
