I've a friend who is a postman, and his missus complains that when they go away, he does nothing, but sleep! 😁😴

I went out for a bit, watched a saxophonist playing the sun down, had a coffee, and a couple of glasses of wine, ate in the buffet restaurant, and I think I'm going to have a quiet night, listening to some music, and reading my book 👍

Both arms covered in bruises due to the elevator doors 🤨

Glad your day mostly worked out OK buddy. When I was a kid, we would always visit my paternal grandparents on Boxing Day. They lived in a small slum house, with 3 of my uncles. The house was so small that my auntie stayed 2 doors down, in my great grandmother's old house, with my great uncle. There were no shops open in the morning, and almost no traffic on the roads, but in the afternoon, there'd be sporting events, and the pubs would open for 2 or 3 hours. My dad, and my uncles, and their pals, and me when I was a bit older, would go off to watch Sheffield Wednesday, or sometimes we'd go to watch greyhound racing. Now, it's just another day, and the most popular activity is more shopping 🙄 It's still a public holiday though, with no libraries, banks, or government buildings open 👍

Agreed!

I don’t recall the last time our kids let us sleep in longer than 6-6:30. we Stayed at the in-laws last night and they offered to get up to the kids over night. Brilliant thought my wife and I! Body clock woke me up at 5:30 and you think I could get back to sleep?! Still relaxing in bed for a couple of hours looking at photos of knives is relaxing enough.

That's why I take 20+ and save 2 maybe😅😅

We spent boxing day looking for the unicorn (entertainment unit) Kristy found 1 but not 1 in stock. We could have 1 for you in 2 to 3 weeks....maybe 🙄 the hunt goes on.

but she did let me go to the hardware shop to spend vouchers I got for Christmas. New cordless hedge trimmer, little diamond stone and some plants including another chilli.😃
