Some of you may remember, that on my first night at the hotel, I had considerable difficulty finding my way back to my room - I will never forget it!

It was very tiring, and so when dawn broke the following day, I decided I'd be having an easy day. So, I explored the hotel a bit more, read my book, and explored the small beach immediately in front of the hotel.
The beach has a lot of rocks and pepples, but it's still attractive I think, with great views.
Across the bay is Corralejo in Fuerteventura.

Up on top of the hotel is the Royal Elite Roof Terrace, and next to it is one of the two Royal Elite Lounges - a bit snobby, but the booze was good!
As well as having a paddle, I had a walk down the road behind the hotel, where there was a supermarket, and a few bars, shops, and restaurants. I also found my way up onto a couple of sections of hotel roof, which had great views over to the Papagayo beaches, and all over the area.
The sunsets are so beautiful on Lanzarote that they are something of an event, people gather to watch them, toast them, film them, sail towards them, dance to them, and they usher in the evening ahead.
I took so many photos Guardians, that I'm pretty much posting at random!

So let me know if you'd like to see more, or less, of anything. My first adventure starts tomorrow, with a walk along the cliff tops to the twice-weekly market at Rubicon Marina, and Playa Blanca. For now,
Buenos tardes
