Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hello everyone,
Quiet day at home. Chicken wings and salad on the menu for the big dance tonight. I’ve got my Sunday’s best out to keep me company.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday, I won't be watching the Super Bowl 😁
I really like this little lamb Steve. Great character.
Another stunning photo, Dwight
Thanks Dennis! Good to see you my friend. Gorgeous Juniper piece you're working on!
Afternoon Guardians! Ablett Lamb today.

It's nice to see all the Ablett lambs from time to time.

My wife and I took the pup out for a walk this morning and took a 3 mile trail that we had never been on before. The scenery was incredible and gave lots of photo opportunities!

I know how that works! 🤣 ;)

"I drink the Blood of Lamb from Bandy's Tract!"

🤣🤣

Haven’t watched that movie in a while.

I like you style Barrett. 😎👍
I took this photo of my Albers yesterday…great minds! 🤣 (Sorry for the bad photo, it was so dark I tried to adjust it. Looks like all I did was screw it up 😄)

Very nice, Todd. 😁 Out-and-about knife pics can be tough, but that one looks alright to me.

Ran across this one in my knife box this morning. Had forgotten all about it.

ED, that's some pretty unforgettable stag . . . you should have your forgetter checked! ;)

I was thinking the same thing! 😉🤣 Beautiful knife, Ed!

I've been a bit quiet about it but I've had this Albers in my pocket for close to a month now. A fine member reached out towards the end of the year to make this Lambsfoot available to me. I received it after the New Year and I have to say it was a grand way to start 2024. It's an excellent knife and Eric should be very proud of his efforts here. The grain is more subtle on this Ironwood but it has a pleasingly tactile feel to it - I've been very happy with it.

Nice pic, Dylan. Eric makes a great Lambsfoot, doesn’t he?

Growing up as your average kid in Middle America, I drank cheap beer and cheap whiskey with my buddies. Later in life I found the pleasures of a “good” beer but never developed much of taste for other alcohols. That was until some friends introduced me to some really fine tequilas during various trips to Mexico. I never knew tequila could taste so smooth and flavorful. Still not much of whiskey drinker, fast forward to many years later when my youngest son, and good friend of Jacks, had me try some high end bourbons. Darn if they weren’t quite tasty also. :) Here is a brand we both enjoy.

That’s definitely a good one (the bourbon and the knife).

Beautiful shot of that grain, Dwight! 🙂

Hello Guardians!!! Night shift really stinks 🤣🤣🤣. But hey, bills got to be paid and knives must be purchased. Got Jack’s wonderful HHB in the pocket this evening.

Hey, you gotta make money so you can buy all the speys at the Badger show! 😉😁 Wait, what thread are we in?! Forget I said anything about any non-Lambsfoot knives! 🤫

Tool Man is very opiniated about all things, despite his lack of knowledge of most of them :D He likes cheap, strong lager, and the cheapest rum, and insists that anything else is just wasting money. It's rather funny to hear him say, "I can't stand Champagne!" What kind of Champagne has that bum ever had?! 🤣🤣

Why does that not surprise me? 🤣

Good morning Guardians, how's everyone doing, I hope you all have something interesting planned for the weekend. It's been raining here, again, but looks like it might brighten up a bit. I feel pretty rotten, but I'm going to have to go out. I was supposed to be meeting up with Wolfie today, but I don't want to give him my cold :( Hoping I feel a bit better later, or at least stop coughing so much  Wishing everyone a great weekend :) Albers seems to be the order of the day :D

Sorry you’re still not feeling well, Jack. Nice shot of your Albers!

Have a great weekend Guardians! 😎👍View attachment 2490417

Lots of nice Albers Lamb pics in her lately!

I think Costco must be different here, as I don't think they sell roasted chickens, I have seen them mentioned here before  I remember ordering from them during our first lockdown, in 2020, when I couldn't get a supermarket delivery for love nor money

We went to a Costco in Bristol when we were in England for Christmas with my brother and sister-in-law. It seemed pretty similar to Costco in the US, different items of course, but very similar (include some American-sized customers). 😁 I don’t remember seeing rotisserie chickens, but I also wasn’t looking for them.

I only have a couple bowl fulls left of the Germaine’s that I told you about. I keep that stuff locked deep in my secret stash spot 😃. I was smoking run of the mill American stuff today. England mastered two things that I love knives and pipe tobacco.

I haven’t smoked a pipe in a few years (I only go for an occasional cigar these days), but I did enjoy English tobacco blends when I used to. My favorite (sadly no longer available, I think the company went out of business) was McClelland’s Frog Morton Across the Pond.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!!! Whipped up some birria tacos for the family. Stag lamb in tote.

That looks awesome, Paul! I love birria tacos.:thumbsup:

We’re over at our neighbors for a Super Bowl party. I figured I ought to carry my championship Albers Lamb in Afzelia Burl. The knife is American, of course, but I did bring a bit of Yorkshire with me. 😉

Old and classic Dwight. Great composition of textures with lamb
Beautiful old IXL Dwight! And great backdrop
Cool picture of that old I*XL
Thanks fellows!
Creeping down page one. Guess everyone is watching the sporting contest.
Not me Leon. When they started taking a knee during the national anthem I let that slide... then they decided to go WOKE... and I made an exit.
Great pic of a ruggedly handsome Lamb.
Thanks David.
Beautiful shot of that grain, Dwight!
Thanks Barrett. You always capture the grain in your Afzelia exceptionally well. I hope the Super Bowl party went well my friend!
