Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good day Guardians. Pile side today. 😎👍View attachment 2492807
Superb pic Todd :)
Good to see Rose Beast Jer

Yikes! Fine-looking Lamb though ;)

I can imagine!

Not for a month Steve, and it's easier to get hold of heroin here than antibiotics

Another wounded soldier! ;) The Blue One looks good! :D It's very interesting jigging that, I don't recall seeing anything else quite like it

I ended up doing a lot of traipsing around, from one end of town to the other, and I didn't even get a cup of coffee. As I hadn't been able to call in at Charlie's, I decided to have one at the Corn Exchange, after lunch. The cafe there is expensive, but at least the coffee is good. They don't do table service, so I queued behind a lady who was ordering some cakes, and drinks. The stoner behind the counter looked off his head, and took ages to take her order, I must have been standing there 10-15 minutes. While I was waiting, I took off my rucsac, and put it on a chair at a table directly in front of the counter, along with my coat, and scarf, putting my reading glasses on the table. Eventually, the lady had finished paying, and went off to her table. At this point, the stoner said, "I'm sorry, but we're going to have to shut for a while." I asked him if he couldn't have told me that a little earlier (rather than just watch me stand there, for no reason), but the point was lost on the idiot. Two hours later, I was at the opposite end of town, when I realised I'd left my reading glasses on the table. I walked back, and was astonished to find they were exactly where I'd left them, on the table, right in front of the counter
I fell asleep soon after making my previous post, and have only just woken up, 3 hours later!
Bob, I am as well! Misery loves company or something like that. lol
Sorry to hear that Pete :( A good job you don't live in the same house or there might be even more misery !

Jack, found this one that has the same type blue rope jigging. On this forum under "Getting Jiggly". Wonder if this was one of Eric's efforts whilst he was at Canal Street?

That is cool Bill, could be

Pancake Day here tomorrow, my favourite holiday of the year! :D Hoping to head out for pancakes with Wolfie, and his youngest, Idris :) But after the pancakes come the pain! This year, I'm not going crazy bat-$%1# vegan straight-edge, but I'm going to cut out cakes, biscuits, sweet pies, etc (until my birthday on March 30th, when 'Jent' officially ends), and not drink alcohol at home, (which is where most of my boozing gets done these days)

Think I might need a hefty Lamb to handle those pancakes ;)

Wow! Love the way you've captured the etch

Maybe I am completely wrong Barrett. The Costco store in Leeds is way over on the other side of town, and when I think about it, I've not actually been there, physically, (as opposed to shopping online), for at least 15 years. From what I recall it was just like a big warehouse, but I guess a lot of things could have changed since then

No, that sounds about right. 😁 It’s a giant warehouse full of items sold in quantities larger than most people need. Here they do the rotisserie chickens in several big ovens in the meat department in back. I bet they’ve got a hundred of them going at a time, and they’re cheap, $4.99 for a whole chicken. Pretty tasty, too, and useful if you need chicken for a soup or casserole.

Also, at their cafe in the front of the store, you can get a large hot dog and a drink for $1.50, or a large slice of pizza for $2. The pizza is just ok, but the hot dogs are pretty good. Sometimes we’ll have lunch there after doing our weekend shopping, because the four of us can eat for like $12. 🤣

Hope you have an enjoyable Pancake Day, Jack!

Well, after yesterdays great weather over here, it's been raining and crappy today. So pardon the bad picture, but I just had to share this Lamb today! Carrying it just brings me joy! ☺️

No, bad florescent lighting does not do Charlie Lamb any justice whatsoever!

Bad lighting days are frustrating, aren’t they? Good thing that Waynorth Lambsfoot looks good in any light! 😁

Old pic for the sake of Lambsfoot content:

Yeah we have the chickens about $7aud. At most supermarkets $12. So I'll get 1 if I go.
The cafe is cheap, I've tried the chips and pizza, pizzas are huge! I do like the cheap drink with free refills on a hot day.
Nice picture too mate.

Thanks for reminding me! I've put my pancake mix in my coffee cupboard, where with any luck I'll see it in the morning.
Big rose today. Maybe I should call it big Lilly as my youngest is Lilly Rose 🤔🤔🤔 nah better not.

Suddenly it seems that carrying a crook-handle cane hurts my fingers.
A swan neck cane should by fine; I know the shaft is right under my fist, but I don't feel it. I lose all sense of point.
I'll try my iron shovel-handle handled one, which I'll remember to take a picture of if I'm using it.

I'll try this one, too:1707786581666.png
