Kudos on the Kudu!View attachment 2492581Im paying for the hot wings last night!!
Times are tough here Jack. I've let the bar stock dwindle to almost nothing. Tonight I'm mixing half and half - Forty Creek and Kentucky Moonshine.and not drink alcohol at home, (which is where most of my boozing gets done these days)
Cool image Barrett! No, that sounds about right. It’s a giant warehouse full of items sold in quantities larger than most people need. Here they do the rotisserie chickens in several big ovens in the meat department in back. I bet they’ve got a hundred of them going at a time, and they’re cheap, $4.99 for a whole chicken. Pretty tasty, too, and useful if you need chicken for a soup or casserole.
Also, at their cafe in the front of the store, you can get a large hot dog and a drink for $1.50, or a large slice of pizza for $2. The pizza is just ok, but the hot dogs are pretty good. Sometimes we’ll have lunch there after doing our weekend shopping, because the four of us can eat for like $12.
Hope you have an enjoyable Pancake Day, Jack!

Jack, found this one that has the same type blue rope jigging. On this forum under "Getting Jiggly". Wonder if this was one of Eric's efforts whilst he was at Canal Street?

Thanks kindly Dwight.Kudos on the Kudu!Absolutely gorgeous lamb.
That is so well designed Dwight.
Sounds like you've got our weather here, dreary as dishwater!Well, after yesterdays great weather over here, it's been raining and crappy today. So pardon the bad picture, but I just had to share this Lamb today! Carrying it just brings me joy!

No, bad florescent lighting does not do Charlie Lamb any justice whatsoever!
Looking good David

Hope you enjoy your pancakes JerThanks for reminding me! I've put my pancake mix in my coffee cupboard, where with any luck I'll see it in the morning.
Suddenly it seems that carrying a crook-handle cane hurts my fingers.
A swan neck cane should by fine; I know the shaft is right under my fist, but I don't feel it. I lose all sense of point.
I'll try my iron shovel-handle handled one, which I'll remember to take a picture of if I'm using it.

I'll try this one, too:View attachment 2493425

Cool image Barrett!
Cool pic Dwight
That's a very interesting storyI did some research on this a few weeks back as I was always curious the history behind blue rope bone. From what I found online (not verified), it’s all the same batch. There was a run of Schrade 100th anniversary knives that got this bone in the early 2000s. Then the company went under and the founders of CSC rescued the leftovers, using it in a few knives throughout the company’s time. Following that, it seems the cover material was once again saved and used in two of Eric’s knives so far.
Hard keeping up these days!Running behind on BF today. Busy with an endless list of honey do’s on my day off

People are going to die, but that will be a matter for the crematoria.I didn't get past the receptionist, they won't issue antibiotics because it's a matter for the dentist.

Thanks a lot guysUnfortunately, I didn't get past the receptionist, they won't issue antibiotics because it's a matter for the dentist. I'm one of the lucky few who HAS a dentist here, but my appointment is a month away. Receptionist suggested I contact the Emergency Dental Service, but as we both know, that service is exclusive to those who aren't actually registered with a dentist, and I imagine that they have a very long waiting list at the moment
