Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I did some research on this a few weeks back as I was always curious the history behind blue rope bone. From what I found online (not verified), it’s all the same batch. There was a run of Schrade 100th anniversary knives that got this bone in the early 2000s. Then the company went under and the founders of CSC rescued the leftovers, using it in a few knives throughout the company’s time. Following that, it seems the cover material was once again saved and used in two of Eric’s knives so far.
Interesting bit of history; thanks! Hard to say how much of that material is left. Certainly makes for nice looking covers.

Sorry to hear you couldn’t get any antibiotics Jack. Looking forward to seeing a picture of Waboom snuggled up to some pancakes!
😎👍
Thanks Todd, I'm really sorry, but I forgot to take my camera out with me. The pancakes were very nice, I had mine with blackberries and raspberries, berry compote, and cream 😋 It got kind of stressful though as one of Idris's little mates came along, and the kid didn't seem to be able to speak (or know how to use a knife and fork), so ordering was really hard work. Then it turned out Idris couldn't have the pancakes, because he has a serious nut allergy, and as they were using pecans, it could have been an issue, so he had beans on toast, which wasn't even on the menu, but then didn't like the beans 😖 I've suggested they both need to attend my school for manners and etiquette! Me and Wolfie enjoyed our pancakes though, and the coffee was good too
Be sure you get your pancakes, too. Fortunately my cane is more of a precaution than a necessity most of the time.

Thanks!
It's a mite handle-heavy. I have a more restrained handle in sheet steel and dowel, but this one already as a stick and I know the grip won't twirl.

People are going to die, but that will be a matter for the crematoria.

Thanks mate :) That's good to hear, you should show the design to Cold Steel! :D That sums it up doesn't it?! Cool pic Jer
I hope you can enjoy your pancakes and nice shot of Waboom !

This seems almost criminal negligence 🤬
Thanks buddy :) Yeah, particularly on the part of the dentist, whose negligence caused the infection, then I have to wait 5 weeks for them to address the issue, which not only leaves me in pain, but increases the likelihood of losing the teeth, which they'll then want to charge me to remove, and try and sell me implants
Yes, it’s pretty dreary here but that lamb always makes me smile 😃
I hope you were able to get some antibiotics today Jack, so you can get some relief.
Edit: I just saw your last post. I can’t imagine your frustration 😡
Thank you very much Ken, I've been gargling with salt water! 😠
Good morning Guardians. Getting ready to take a few days off. 😉👍View attachment 2493749
Good for you Todd :) Any fishing involved? ;)
Good morning Guardians. Off to a sunny start of the day but breezy. So much so that my golfing got cancelled - wind gusts to 50 mph. Looks like I'll stick close to the home today and attempt som "honey do's". My Blue is still with me today.

Thanks Jack. No, doing our little ski trip we take each year. Not big time skiing but it’s a fun getaway.

Thanks Steve. 😎👍

Sounds really delicious. 😎👍
Yeah, I could have eaten one or two more, but Wolfie starts getting antsy if he's enjoying himself for more than half and hour, rather than doing SWMBO's bidding! ;)

I hope you have a lovely time Todd :)
Thank you. Maker unknown. My High Plains Drifter lambsfoot. The country of origin is unspecified so somewhere in the EU? (I got it from Jack Black Jack Black .)
Strangely, I don't see those anymore :(
Good morning and Happy TEWsday Guardians !

Beautiful vintage TEW Steve
Jack (and I'm serious) have you tried getting an antibiotic through a veterinary facility?
I hadn't even thought of that Dwight, that's a pretty good idea
Today's big pork butt on the barbie day.

That's a sweet one Dwight  Enjoy your barbie buddy :)

It's half-term here this week, which means that a number of my friends aren't working this week, so tomorrow I'm going for a hike with my mate Matt, and his kids :) Grim Reaper is coming too ;)

That's a beauty Dylan. 👌

Thank you, Dwight. That burl on your Albers is stunning! Eric knows how to pick some nice woods for his knives.

Congratulations Dylan  Looks like a good cup of coffee too :)

Thank you, Jack. I hope you get to feeling better soon, sounds like it's been quite the string of under-the-weather travails.

Nice pic, Dylan. Eric makes a great Lambsfoot, doesn’t he?

Thanks, Barrett. Agreed 100%. I wasn't counting on being able to acquire one, nor was I actively looking, but patience is a virtue I sometimes possess in abundance and it helps to have good buddies too. It's wonderful to see the Lambsfoot become so popular. I'm grateful for the collection I have cultivated before the demand soared.
