Awesome LF knife!!!
LOL! :D I'd say that Sir Ranulph Fiennes may be the nuttiest of all! :D The British Antarctic Survey deliberately look for bland, introverted, quiet characters who can work in close proximity to others, for months at a time, without causing friction, (a friend of mine was excluded because he occasionally whistled), so it always makes me laugh when sci-fi movie space crews are composed of a bunch of crazy alcoholics and nut-cases! 🤣 I guess reality would be less interesting :D

Awwww...:)

Cool cap Dwight, incredible Lambsfoot, and what an amazing pic  :)

That looks very well-maintained Mitch :)

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing well :) I've got a big dollop of work this week, so I better crack on with it  Have a good day everyone

Beautiful LF knife, Jack. Don't work too hard!

Good morning Guardians. It's a cold one out here today. Passed on golf so I'll be doing some shopping on-line for a new hedge trimmer. Going with battery power this time. My old Black and Decker corded hedge trimmer is very tired but stood the test of time. However, wounded extension cords! Recommendations for a new trimmer welcomed.
I'll be carrying my Senator today.

Those stones of yours always remind me of a Playboy pictorial from the '60s, featuring
Vera Lehndorff[3] (German: Vera Anna Gottliebe Gräfin von Lehndorff; born 14 May 1939), known professionally as Veruschka, is a German aristocrat, model, actress and artist. She is considered the "first German supermodel.“[4]

I have a DeWalt, and it works fine for my purposes. My major reason for buying that particular brand was that it uses the same batteries as all my other cordless tools. Now that I have a pile of batteries and chargers, it's much cheaper to but a new tool when I need one, because I can buy the tool-only package (usually around $50-$60 less than getting the same tool with another set of batteries and a charger).

I think it's been an hour now, maybe longer, and my heart-rate has only just settled back down, and my vision cleared. I don't know how you guys managed to put this together, but I received a very special gift this evening, a wonderful knife, which I will treasure always. It is one of Cosimo Di Bendetto's beautifully elegant Lambsfoot knives, and it would be amazing enough, but it came as a gift from a bunch of you, who are my friends, which is why it will always have a special place in my heart. I can't thank you folks enough for all the kindness and friendship I have received here over the years, but this knife will be a special reminder of both. Thank you so much my dear friends :)

It's late here, and long dark, but here is my Pals' Lambsfoot :)

Many thanks for your kindness and friendship Pete :) Kind of amazing how this thread has turned out :)

I hope everyone is having a good day :) The weather here has been mild, and the sun was even out some (back to rain tomorrow). I was working at my computer, but my head was nodding, so I had a walked down to Charlie's cafe for a coffee. Hisham's wife and little boy, Ryan, came in, which was nice, as I haven't seen them in a while. Ryan has the cheekiest face! :D

I went into town, and called in at the bank, then had to go up the university. Thought I'd take a pic of the iconic Parkinson Steps :)

I went back into town, had coffee and cake in a bookshop, went and picked up my new specs, (with no issues this time), bought a couple of Easter presents, and then headed home. I need to get, at least, another couple of hours work done now

Glad to hear you got out and about a bit. Also that you finally got your new specs 👍

Butler Lamb today

Superb Steve

Thanks mate :) Very pleased with the specs, but the more you spend on them here, the bigger the case they give you! I want something that fits in my pocket easily, not something that might attract excess baggage fees! 😖
