Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good afternoon Guardians! It's been way too long since I've been on here, and I have missed it terribly. I've been dealing with things that have been out of my control, but I think that things are getting back to normal for me now- fingers crossed!🤞
What better way to celebrate than with a Charlie Lamb on a beautiful sunny afternoon!
I hope everyone is doing well. I know it's going to take me quite a while to get caught up, but I will take it as I have time!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...... Myyyyyyyyyyyyy..... !!!!!! :oops::oops::oops: WOW!
Enjoy a great smoke, have a nice evening/morning Guardians. 😎👍
Wonderful image Todd!

Went down to Everglades National Park to watch the sunset with my GF and a buddy of mine named "Holiber."

"Holiber" is of Venezuelan descent, and I've found they have a knack for spelling fairly ordinary names in a quite counterintuitive fashion. Case in point, "Holiber" refers to himself, as "Oliver." I had another Venezuelan friend named "Dayanha" - pronounced "Diana." Looks so exotic - sounds so pedestrian. It seems they really have a thing for the silent H's. 🤷

Back to the sunset. I happened to have my trusty DIW GEC 88 on me, so I took a few pics. Why didn't I have the gator-shielded variant with me, you ask? Because I really didn't think things through - next time!

Good night, Guardians!

Thank you Jack! It's been a heck of a ride, but I'm happy to be back!
I hope it's plain sailing from here on in Ken, it's good to have you back :)
That's really interesting Jack!

Hope you didn't have to work to hard today. Still awesome Lamb 🐑
Thanks David, it's a long time since I chased work, but it always finds me in the end! 😖 ;) I was at it until 8pm last night, and it's going to be the same today, I reckon. I might even have to cut my trip to the market short :(
Morning all
Cool pic Mitch :)
Evening Guardians! William Rodgers Lamb 🐑

There sure were an awful lot of knives produced under that name  That's a nice one my friend :)

Here's one Charlie waynorth waynorth very generously sent me a few years back :)

Well, Spring has arrived at least for me. Don’t know why A. Wright doesn’t offer their lambs in jigged bone anymore. I believe these we offered in blue, green and red. One of my first lambs. 😀

Good news Dan, still raining here! 😩;) That's right, though sometimes the green looked more like a brown. I tried getting hold of one of those, but they never made very many, which I understand was down to lack of demand. It's worth noting that the A. Wright site is not actually theirs, but the site of a Sheffield dealer, so it could be that the factory does still make them, but for other retailers
Terrific trio my friend, outstanding  :)
Thank you Sir. From left to right: Cranberry Red Jigged, Tangerine Jigged, American Bone Jigged.

Haven’t been too active the last couple of days. I’ll get back on the wagon tomorrow. Hope everyone is well. Carried the K roo lamb today. Will update with picture in a bit.
Hope everything is OK buddy, and that you're still looking forward to the knife show :)
Enjoy a great smoke, have a nice evening/morning Guardians. 😎👍
Great pic Todd, that sure is some lovely wood

Brilliant! 🤣 🤣

Not the same thing, but I have a neighbour from the Ivory Coast, where they speak French. He originally introduced himself as John. I asked him, is it John or Jean? He told me it was the latter, so I told the other neighbours he was called Jean. The next day he told me he preferred to be called Steven, rather than Jean. I asked him if that was Steven or Stephane. Turns out it was Stephane. I asked him why he told me he was called Jean, and he said his name was Jean Stephane, but everybody calls him Stephane 🤔 He had introduced his adult daughter as Mary, but it later transpired she was actually called Marie. Then they started referring to her as Emma. When I asked why they called her Emma, I was told, "Oh, we like calling her Emma." 😖 They actually seem to alternate between both names. His missus is English, but with Ivory Coast ancestry. She's called Si-Si, but her real name is something else. One of their two daughters is called Bella, but they also call her Si-Si sometimes. I've given up trying to remember what the youngest is called! They just call me 'Uncle' or 'Mr Jack'! :D

Good morning Guardians, well there goes an hour! I hope everyone is doing OK, and that the week has turned out to be a good one for you :) There was much talk of spring here in Yorkshire yesterday, but it's raining again today  I'm going to be stuck indoors anyway, unfortunately, so I better get down to it ;) Have a good day Guardians

It is a bit like that Jer! :D OTW is looking good :) I've steamed into my work this morning, and reckon, if I work late, I'll be able to get it done tonight. So I should be able to get down to the market, but then I have some more work coming around lunchtime I'm afraid :(
I like that stag Todd, is that a new one?
What a beauty !

Nice !
Thank you Steve :)
Good morning Guardians. Much warmer this morning but still on the cool side. Going for my morning stroll a little later today. My Senator is doing back flips over being my companion. I love the file work on this knife too.

Enjoy your stroll Bill :) It's milder here, but I think there is yet more rain on the way

I had to pick something up from the printers, so since I'll be working late, I figured I'd fuel up at Charlie's ;)

The prescription of my new reading specs is actually noticeably less strong than my old pair. Suits me better, but I have to wonder what they were playing at last time round
