Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks guys, I am beginning to despair! 😖 I saw the dentist, who looks like she's 16, and talks like a used-car salesman. I am so angry with the way I have been treated by this surgery  To cut a long story short, she is referring me to the dental hospital to have 2 (previously healthy) teeth removed. Apparently, she's just an "ordinary dentist", and doesn't remove teeth, but if I "get desperate", I could see her colleague, who charges £200 an hour, just for a consultation. I could have had the teeth pulled at the hospital on Friday, but this way I'll be waiting 3-6 months! I told her the crown was loose, and that I could probably pull it out with my fingers, and she recommended that's what I do! o_O By chance, on the way home, I bumped into my neighbour's daughter, who had also had a abscess, and lost 2 teeth, after treatment at the same dentist. The only difference being she was in a lot of pain, and they kept her waiting to extract as much profit from her as possible. She's going over to France to get her teeth fixed!
I guess I should be inured to these horror stories by now but I am shocked anew with each one. The precipitous decline in quality of care doesn't seem possible and yet there it is for all to see! In the UK!!!:oops::oops: 🙁

Thanks Steve, it was a gift from @reaperAl, who doesn't seem to be a member here anymore :( I'll have to see if I have his email address. I hope he's OK

Good to see Rose Beast Jer

That is such a beauty Bob  :)

Thank you my friend :) Terrific trio there :)

Thanks a lot David :)

Thanks buddy, it's a giraffe bone re-cover :) Hope you're keeping well

Stunning bone Steve, I love that jigging

😁
Happy belated birthday, Jack! I lurk mostly, as you know, but felt compelled to scream my old colleague's mantra: "the :poop: you see when you don't have your gun". It is absolutely nuts to read of your trials for basic dental/health care. More nuts is that many Americans clamor for our lame government to provide the same. Sorry, off the soapbox... Hope that you find proper care and relief post haste.

Good afternoon/evening Guardians. Gorgeous sunny day today in the 80's F today. Feeling much better as well. Hope everyone out there is doing well too.

Glad you are on the mend !

Add me to the list of late birthday wishes, Jack 😒. Sorry about that. Happy birthday buddy. Snow is coming down like crazy right now. Gonna stay indoors on this day off. Charlie lamb is riding in the pocket again. Forgot to mention this sweet slip that @btb01 had made for us for Badger. It is my dedicated lamb slip. Thanks again, Barret.
Hope everyone had a great day.

That's some handsome cover Mitch. 👍

Wow Jack
That's terrible, where's the duty of care!
What's an ordinary dentist?
I still have all my teeth touch wood but as a kid was a snaggle tooth. Had braces for over 2 years. Before I could had to have 4 teeth removed, my ordinary regular dentist did it, 2 at a time.
You better book 1 of them medical tours to Thailand 🥺
Try not to let it get you to down brother
I thought it was shameless Mitch, I think I am definitely going to have to go somewhere else to get proper dental treatment. I'm at the bloody opticians again today!
