It’s a fine morning here in Santa Cruz. Definitely beach weather…maybe, you never know. I should have been a meteorologist. I was wondering what happened to Otter 841. So far no new incidents of surfboard larceny. Sadly we have lots of ill pelicans. They are malnourished and many get taken to rescue shelters. I enjoy watching pelicans especially when they’re flying. They’re my favorite bird next to turkeys.

Wee Staggy sure is niceGood morning Guardians, my internet connection seems to be functioning again today, so I hope that lasts. Internet companies are always digging up the street, but the signal seems to get worse, rather than better, and it is even worse further up the hill, for some reason, where there is almost no internet signal, and very little phone signal eitherI hope everyone is doing well, and that you have something planned for the weekend, even if it's just sitting on the couch!
It's quite sunny here, so far, today, though the forecast is for temperatures no higher than the early 60's. My mate Matt is busy today, but I've arranged to meet Wolfie, who I've not seen for a couple of weeks, and a few other friends. We'll probably grab lunch, and a few beers

Afternoon Guardians! Hope y'all have a good weekend. I'm going to the high school alumni dinner this evening. Graduated 50 years ago in 1974. One of the happiest days of my life at that time. I hated school. This is the first alumni dinner I've been to in 50 years. I'm actually looking forward to going. Be interesting to see who shows up. Kat will be joining me today.

Today I actually had nothing planned, so I finally busted out the sharpener and took care of about 7 knives. Here are the 3 Lambs that I’ve fleeced
A couple of them had really wonky grinds, and will take a few sharpenings to get right. But they’re sharp now!
