Back to work. Looks like everyone is carrying some fine lambs today!!!! @JohnDF glad you are happy with the Albers and hope it serves you well. Bob is fully to blame for the rogue package. I just tagged along. Got the Ashwin today. The wood covers on this knife is mesmerizing.

Beautiful Dwight, Cosimo nevers ceases to amaze!!
The wood is maple burl. And it is an Ashwin Lambfoot. The knife was ground funny and when I tried it up it lost a bit of taper. It is still tapered to the tip but not as much as it did when it was made.WOWZZZAAA!!! Fantastic grain! Two questions - What is the wood -- Is that a lambsfoot?
It is absolutely gorgeous Paul. Maple burl is hard to beat! The wood is maple burl. And it is an Ashwin Lambfoot. The knife was ground funny and when I tried it up it lost a bit of taper. It is still tapered to the tip but not as much as it did when it was made
Stunning Dwight
Very interesting Steve, it's nice to see more of that historic gem
Congratulations!
Paul & Bob a couple of gems, diamond in the rough
Good on ya gents.
LOL!You had a good day Jack.
Why the mini grips? Did you get a new Wright. They will be a good handy size.
Maybe you should get the ladies with the hat pins from the documentary to sort your delivery issues![]()
Not just here then?Sadly doesn't always work, ours pretty slow. We were told by the telco, cause we were so far up the hill the cable isn't as effective from main cable from the street. All the cables under the national broadband network were supposed to be upgraded years ago but due to costing didn't happen in all areas. The telco offered us a discount at the time we first moved in, of course prices have gone up.
Excellent Paul, hope work doesn't take too much out of you buddyBack to work. I was disappointed to not wake up to a new 64 ounce stainless steel insulated water bottle. Overnight the river rats changed their mind about overnight delivery.I'm going to have to wait in for my package later,
Nice pic Bob

It's still due today, and it won't be really really hot till Monday.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has made it through the week in good shape. I'm going to have to wait in for my package later, but reckon I have time to nip down the road to Charlie's, have a quick coffee with Wolfie, and pick up some bread in town, so that's my planGot my Hartshead Barlow to end the week
Have a great day everyone

Thanks Steve
When I got back from town, I could see the postie's van parked a bit further down the road, so I went to investigate, hoping I could relieve him of my parcel. When I got to the van though, it was empty, and looking around, I could see him right down at the bottom of the road. I was expecting him to have called by now, so I just went out to have a look where he had got to, and the van has gone! I don't know if he's left my parcel at the depot, forgotten to deliver it, or is intending to deliver it later. He's a nice guy, but as thick as mince, and really chaotic, so unlike every other postie, he sometimes delivers the parcels separately to the other mail, which means they're not delivered until late afternoon![]()
