You are " batching" it with great style Bill.Good morning/afternoon and Happy Father's Day Guardians (who are fathers, that is). The wife went on a brief weekend trip with friends so I'm "batching it" for now. For Father's Day I treated myself to a new garden hose - Oh boy! Nice day outside but a tad too warm so I'll be celebrating my day inside with the air con turned up to max and later and maybe a nice dram of "oogie".

Cassie and I had a very close call this morning. We were coming back from our walk on the sidewalk behind my townhouse building. Just as we cleared the space between two building I heard a low rumbling crunching sound. I heard a couple of more and then BOOM ! This huge Oak tree came crashing down right behind me.
It managed to miss both buildings and the only damage is a light post. The tree was rotten inside and all the rain we had must have softened the ground enough where is just gave way.

Such a beauty
. As expected I am completely useless now. I’m lounging in a rocker with a Mexican lemonade and watching my boy do cannon balls into the pool. I judge cannon balls purely on splash factor. He has some work to do . My sons reaction in the pool is from me rating his last one a 2/10.

Don’t be too hard on the boy Paul!After 16 hours of driving we decided to stop for the night in Dalhart TX. I have already crushed a red enchilada plate, steak Gordita, and a Milanessa torta
6 more hours and this drive from hell is over. I’ll have the micarta lamb for my whole trip.
