Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Spectracide Insect Barrier, it is a spray. Kills ticks on contact, even though they're arachnids, but is harmless to children and pets. I'm sure.
I thought I'd risk it though.
I do have screens, but one tick had crawled around the screen somehow, and was on the outside side of the glass. Grizzly death time.

Ah yeah I'll spray come spring. Not for ticks more redbacks & funnel webs

Sounds like useful stuff Jer
Ah good old corny adverts. Jack sounds it evoked some fond memories 😎 looks like clubs will be on your shopping list 😀
Sounds like a good day at the markets, cool pictures.
Maybe Mitch! :D I remember a few years ago, I wanted to send some chocolate bars to Barrett's eldest, Eleanor, (before Scout came along), for the first time. I hadn't bought any of that stuff for decades! :D If I hadn't met Tool Man, I reckon I'd be 30 pounds lighter!
Happy Winter/Summer Solstice depending on where you are on the planet. Winter Solstice here, but we're a day in front of our American/European friends.
Happy Solstice Leon, hope the longer days, and shorter nights come soon my friend :)

My friend Maurizio always has a nice stall, and I like to buy from him when I can. He has this old British Railways cap badge on his stall for the best part of a decade, and I can't believe nobody has ever bought it. So I thought I would today

Beautiful jigging David :) It's been up in the high 60's here this afternoon ;)
Thanks Jack!
I hope everyone is having a good day :) I didn't sleep well last night, so I was a bit tired this morning, but soon picked up. It's always better when the sun is out in the market, and most of the regulars passed by: Barry the Original Ted, Gravel, Slimline Scott, Harry Hotballs, Captain Birdseye, and a few others. Tool Man actually kept his shirt on, and is still, largely, avoiding cake, but he still wasn't going hungry! He said that his 'sandwich', made from an entire loaf of bread, was the biggest he's ever made! This is a third of it  When Gravel asked what was in it, Tool Man said it was crammed with ham, he had got cheap, as it was going 'ram' ('ram' or 'rammy', meaning smelling pungent, or going off, a word brought over to Yorkshire by the Vikings)! 🤢

It's hard to believe that anyone could beat Tool Man for gluttony, but I reckon the, now, Slimline Scott could have eaten him under the table at one time. I've seen the intellectually-challenged lump eating, most frighteningly at Tool Man's wedding reception, and as long as someone else is paying, he'll keep scooping whatever is on offer, into his oversized mouth, with bulging eyes, and an over-active saliva gland. Having now become a shadow of his former self, he eats less, but has no more self-control, and as soon as he sees food, he is drawn towards it, like a zombie to human flesh, advancing to the point where he's standing on your toes, and drooling on them to boot, his eyes fixated on whatever you're eating. So, it was, when Gravel returned with several portions of mushroom and onion bhajis. While Tool Man ate 90% of them, Scott still had to elbow his way over

This conversation between Boring Ray and Scott must have been mind-numbing! :D At least, they're not boring anyone else ;)

Here's Nobber Al, with his crew :D Tom, the guy on the left, is a cycle courier, and Wolfie was one of his couriers, 20 years ago. His business is almost finished though, and he's retiring next week.

Ex Para Steve has broken his ankle, but getting around OK with one of these modern 'casts' fitted.

This is the diminutive Wee Al, who is actually a really good magician  It's a shame that his website no longer has a single trick video

Even Droogs need garden shears apparently

I wish I could have got a photo of Hip Hop Boy from the front, he must have been 70! :D Talk about Growing Old Disgracefully! :D

I haven't seen Grandfather Time in a while, but the sun brings people out :D

While snapping him, I also got a pic of Young Tool Man! 🤣

This old feller always has his basket of imitation flowers, but I've never seen him try to sell them, or give one away :D

Always enjoy the market report and pics of the motley crew! 🐑

Jack it is amazing how your likes and dislikes change over time, and ageing has a lot to do with it as well. I used to love the hot weather, i thrived in it, now i really like Winter and the colder months and shorter days. Love walking in the really brisk conditions. Might have something to do with a lot of the idiots out there are at home with the heater on, i don't miss them. ;)

I know just what you mean my friend :) Sheffield is surrounded by beautiful countryside, but in the summer, you might as well be in a beach resort, with the numbers flocking to it. In the winter, particularly midweek, you can walk all day, and barely see another soul :) Enjoy your walks Leon

Good morning Guardians, and Happy Solstice! :) I was falling asleep by mid evening yesterday, so had an early night. I still feel worn out today though! Unfortunately, I have quite a bit to do today too, and I have to go to the docs this afternoon. The sun is out though :) Carrying my Pals Lamb again ;) Have a great day Guardians

Thanks !
