Eleanor was supposed to go on a field trip there Friday with the summer camp she was doing to last week. They ended up having to change plans because of the rain/flooding (they went to ride the rides at MOA instead), but I hadn’t actually seen the pictures of how bad it was!

Thanks mate, Wolfie said he felt a bit 'stiff' in the ring, and found it his hardest bout to date. He looked fine to me, and I thought he won conclusively. He was fighting a big lad, from Manchester, who I've seen fight a couple of times before. He seems like a nice guy, and a skilled boxer :thumbsup:

I know what you mean mate :rolleyes: These fights aren't on that level, and most of the audience are friends or family of one or more of the fighters, but there's a lot of unnecessary razzamatazz, while basics (like advertising) are neglected. They've had a series of DJs, who are absolute idiots, they could save some money by sacking them. The same with the silly MCs, rapping, and dancing about. Sorry to hear about your local promoter going under :( The guy here is the trainer, manager, promoter, and runs the gym! :D

Good morning, I hope everyone is well, and enjoying the weekend :) I didn't take my camera with me last night, but Wolfie's eldest, Amos, said he recorded the fight on his phone, so as soon as I get a link, I'll post it here. I have a busy week ahead, and I'll be heading into town soon, as I need to pick up some supplies. It's been raining, and is cooler today.
