Morning Guardians! Had thunder storms last night. Much cooler today. Which is a welcome relief from sweltering heat we've had lately. Big Eb riding shotgun today

Eleanor was supposed to go on a field trip there Friday with the summer camp she was doing to last week. They ended up having to change plans because of the rain/flooding (they went to ride the rides at MOA instead), but I hadn’t actually seen the pictures of how bad it was!

Poor Eleanor Tell her our school field trip was to the local sewage works!

HHBs are looking great guys! I think I’ll grab one of mine this afternoon. I’ve got some free time while Julie and the girls have plans, so I’m going to see a movie. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a non-kids movie in theaters. Plus, I have a free large popcorn and drink (birthday month reward) that expires today.

I can relate Barrett, enjoy your grown-up day! Great to see those two together buddy

After 11 here, and I've been sat at my PC since 9am. I haven't gotten finished either, so I've had to set an early alarm, to get my work finished before taking Eve out. It's forecast rain tomorrow, so we've had to skip our walk, but I'm sure we'll find something else to do

Thanks Jack. We did have a great time but it got a little weird at our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was very crowded, more than usual for sure, we soon learned why. The hotel next to the restaurant was hosting an Elvis convention and one of the impersonators found his way to the cantina for a karaoke performance. It’s was a blast!

Good morning Guardians. What a great start to a beautiful October day…oh wait, it’s the first day of July! It’s 54 degrees and I’m wearing a hoodie! I’d have a fire going if I had enough wood cut.
We had another great weekend and I apologize for my absence but around here “lake life” starts around 4:00 pm on Friday and ends around 4:00 pm on Sunday and lately it’s been commanding most, if not all, all of my attention!
Starting the day with CB of course.
