Either I'm getting more intolerant to the heat or it's just downright scorching. In North Alabama. We need some rain soon.

Same here. They were calling for rain here next Wednesday, now it's pushed back to next Thursday or more likely Friday with temps continually rising until it gets here. It's going to be a hot week!

I did see on the extended where they thought it would cool off a bit next Friday for the weekend. So maybe that's the Thursday rain for us. We need some in a bad way. My pastures are getting crunchy

Hope everyone's day is going well. I took care of a few things in the house, then walked down to Charlie's for lunch, and a coffee. I then headed to the post office, and picked up some stuff for the weekend from the local supermarket, including some Cretan goodies they happened to have in It was trying to rain all morning, and the light spotting finally turned into a light shower, when I was a few hundred yards from home. Looks like it's still raining half an hour later No shortage of stuff I can be getting on with indoors

Thanks Jack for your kind words. I really never warmed up to the Genfiddich scotch offerings. Tried many of them. Not that they were bad but they just did not appeal to me. I favor those scotch products made from Islay. Having said that I also have others like Highland Park 18 and Balvene Caribbean Cask that I like too. Just to name a few.
