Cool pic of your Barlow Paul, hope you get a break soon buddy :)
Very atmospheric Dwight :)
Ah you've gotta love Aussies🙃
No worries! 🤣 Thanks for the education Mitch :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that you've had a good week :) There's still no sign of summer here, but at least it's not raining right now  Two years of rain, and the third missing summer in a row, kind of makes me wish I lived somewhere else 😖 No plans for today, other than cracking on with a bit of work, I can always find some  Maybe, I'll have a walk down to Charlie's later, though with Sara away on vacation, the conversation is a little limited. I did learn a new Italian phrase the other day - Brutto tempo! Have a great day Guardians, the weekend is almost here :) Carrying my Pals Lamb, thanks guys :)

Thank you David!

Thank you Steve!

Fantastic image of that beauty!

Evening John.

Those HHB's are a SLAB of BARLOW!!! 😎
Thanks Dwight. I continue to be impressed by your pictures and today’s was no exception. Fine looking lamb and pic setup to go along with it. I may have missed them but I don’t recall seeing a monster truck in a pic recently…😉🤣

I think you had your week is summer when I was there, at least it is sure looking that way. Excellent Pals lamb today.

Good morning Guardians. Brutal weather this week - thunder storms and several inches of rain (we needed it). It was the warmest and driest June on record and we are certainly making up for it in July. Hope al have a great upcoming weekend - me; I'm going to try to stay dry with my HHB. Maybe have a dram of some "Oogie".

I hope you get a break from the rain soon. It's finally drying up around here after one of the wettest Junes and early July here.

I saw on the news last night that at least one house in East Lansing had its foundation burst by flood waters.
The catastrophist in me wonders how long anybody will be able to afford insurance on anything.

Rose Beast is still a beautiful knife.

It's always a pleasure to see Rose Beast !

Maybe where you were, down in the 'sunny south' Jeremy! ;)

That sounds rough Bill, I hope the creek doesn't rise! Nice dram to have with your Barlow :) I was drinking Glenfiddich's 15 year Solera last night, nice enough, but a gift, rather than my choice. I'm trying to clear the decks a bit! :D

Yikes! Yeah, there are places here, where you can't get flood insurance anymore :(

Eric got some great stag for that run  Have a good one yourself Pat

Hope everyone's day is going well. I took care of a few things in the house, then walked down to Charlie's for lunch, and a coffee. I then headed to the post office, and picked up some stuff for the weekend from the local supermarket, including some Cretan goodies they happened to have in :) It was trying to rain all morning, and the light spotting finally turned into a light shower, when I was a few hundred yards from home. Looks like it's still raining half an hour later  No shortage of stuff I can be getting on with indoors

The beast is looking good.
Around here, you have a choice, raise your home about 8 feet off ground level if you want to be insured.

Oh yes....our last bad hurricane had water levels at roof line on many shore homes. My brother is on second home. His is raised 10 feet.
Good grief  I sure hope you don't get anymore like that  Wolfie's sister lives in Australia, and they also have a house that's about 10 feet up above a large river. A couple of years back, they had to bail out at 2am, in a boat, with the kids. He showed me a video, and it looked pretty hairy! The Aussies probably described it as 'a bit of a shower' or something! :D ;)
Thank you Jack, he sure did! He also shaped it to fit the knife perfectly.

That looks perfect Patrick  Eric is a great craftsman :)
