Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians. Finally made it back from our trip. Got caught up in the β€œtech crash” and it took us a day and a half longer to get home than we planned, but we had a great trip! The place was a mess from storms when we were gone so I got up early and cleaned up and now I’m having some coffee and reuniting with CB. There was no way I was going to risk putting it in a checked bag…feels good to be home.

Welcome back Todd !

I just sharpened up the ebony lamb, I'll be carrying it all week. Have a good week, Guardians! :)

Her sandal ravished his eye,
Her beauty made captive his soul,
The sword passed through his neck.

Spectacular my friend
Thanks Jack. First world problems for sure.

🀣 I know what you mean. We were in the states but were often the only ones speaking English as a first language. Makes me feel a little silly that I don’t speak any other language.
LOL! :D I was talking to the owner's brother, the other day. Hearing me speaking in Italian, he asked if I'd learned it on holiday. I told him that I had had to learn a little, so that I can order in the cafe! :D To be fair to Anna, she does speak fluent Albanian, as well as Italian, though this is because her parents were from there, but neither her, nor Fabrizio, seem to have any interest in learning English. Even my offer of free tuition, for an hour a week, was ignored

Morning Guardians! Another nice summer day. Hope y'all are having a good day. Blue πŸ‘

You too, I hope the skies are as blue as your Lamb

I received a lovely surprise, this afternoon, when a delivery, from the English Pewter Company of Sheffield, arrived at my door. Inside the handsome packaging, was a set of 4 beautifully-made, personalised whisky glasses, which were a gift from our generous friend Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 :) The English Pewter Company are significant, because they occupy the site of the former Firth-Brown research laboratories, where in 1913, Harry Brearley made the world's first stainless steel :) Many thanks for the thoughtful gift Bob, I shall be christening one of the glasses this evening, by opening a new bottle of Lagavulin πŸ₯ƒ :)
