Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks, fellas, Beni and I appreciate your nice comments. Thankfully the weather didn't form quickly enough to be much of a concern for us here in SW Florida, but it looks like now it will land up near the pan handle at a category 1. We are still looking forward to two solid days of near constant thunderstorms and 20+ mph winds. I switched to Roper when I got home this evening.

You roped in a beauty Jeff. 😍
Glad to hear you were spared and may that trend continue.

Mercy sakes Jack sounds like it's much worse than I read about in the news. Glad your safe . Keep WaBooooooooooom close.
Glad that your neighborhood is safe , I had no idea that this was so widespread 🙁

Good pic of Waboom 👍
Thanks guys, it's very alarming. While there was unrest in Leeds, we seem to have been saved, in part, by the fact a large contingent of the football hooligans involved in the riot, travelled to another Yorkshire city, Hull. There, there was widespread rioting, with police officers injured, cars and members of the public attacked, shops looted, damaged, and set on fire, along with vehicles, and anything else the rioters could find to burn. Judging from the images I'm seeing, the police seem to be over-stretched, but I guess that many of them have never had to face this level of violence and disorder before. Arrests have already started, which will hopefully deter some of those involved in the violence. I'm going to carry Waboom again today :)
Afternoon Guardians! Stay frosty 👍🤠

A good-looking Lamb David :)
I think they do have extra long truncheons.

I hope it settles down soon.

Thanks Jer, they do have extra long truncheons, as do the dedicated riot squads
Great to see the pile side of your AC Steve :)
And to see more of that one David :)
Cool pic Dwight, I love the old coin :) My pal, Matt's, family are originally from the Isle of Man, going back to his grandfather's time, I think, and he is off there with his dad and uncle, and the kids, for a short holiday soon. I'll try and remember to ask him to get me some coins

I'm glad you escaped the worst of it, my friend, and hope you're back to better weather soon. Lovely image of Roper
Afternoon all
My grandparents lived not too far away from the Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts factory, when I was a kid, Mitch :D Cool pic :)

Good morning Guardians, the city centre of Leeds is rarely a peaceful place at weekends, but so far as I know the disturbances here did not go on into the evening. There were various rumours of mobs on their way to attack various areas, but I've not yet seen any evidence. Certainly, where I live, it was quiet, and untroubled, thankfully. I'm hoping that the violence won't extend beyond the weekend. I hope everyone is well, and that your own weekend has been quieter and more relaxing than mine :) I still have my Waboom in my pocket, and a song in my heart ;) :D Have a great day Guardians

This old photo reminds me I still have a bunch of pics to post for you folks!

Glad you are safe👍
Good childhood memories 😎
When we were growing up, Mum did the groceries once a fortnight. If we were good could pick a bag of lollies, licorice all sorts or freckles for me, still the best😉

Classy Lamb !

Glad to hear you were spared the worst of the storm
👍
Thanks Steve!
Did you notice double horn.

No, I missed that. Very nice handle on that walking stick 👍

Afternoon all

One of my favorites as a kid 😍

Cool pic of Waboom ! I'm really glad to hear that the unrest, for the most part stayed away from your area.

😀

I found an online mounted police supplier. Maybe if I had a horse, I wouldn't think $60 was too much for a stick

🤞✌️

Nice Rosewood on your EZ open Lamb 👍

Good morning Guardians, congratulations once again Barrett, and thank you once again to everyone else, I'm grateful for all the kind words. I'm hoping to do another giveaway soon. I'm afraid my country, and my community, are in some danger at the moment, and this weekend could be a bad one. So, I'm afraid I'll be leaving my Lambsfoot at home today, and I may not to be able to check in until much later this evening, or possibly not until tomorrow. Have a great weekend Guardians, and carry your Lambs with pride ❤️👍

Wow... I've heard about some of the chaos that's happening out y'all's way across the pond. Stay safe out there.
