Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Beautiful lambs Dave!
I received a fantastic package from Modoc ED today, which included a very rare (1 of 5) stag and Damascus Guardians' 2019 SFO and three beautiful cowry shells from Ed's naval excursions to the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. There was even another knife which does not belong in this thread, but will be shown elsewhere.

In honor of Ed's naval career, his unrestrained beneficence and the beauty of the shells, I've decided to name this knife Diego.

Thanks for the accolades Jeff black mamba black mamba . It's comforting to know that "Diego" will have a long time, permanent, home. He's a handsome devil for sure.

That's a sweet set Dave, great to see you here :)

LOL! :D It's definitely a looker Will, I like the way they did the swedges on those
Big rosewood hasn't been out to frolic for awhile.
Had the wife home for the past couple of days with a head cold, must be still winter😊

I was just looking at my Big Rose Mitch, whose out on my kitchen counter, waiting for a little TLC :) The Big 'Un is a cool variation, beloved of both Ron Half/Stop Half/Stop and Duane sitflyer sitflyer :) I hope your wife is over her cold soon mate :)
Union Jack is my lambsfoot this week:

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that your week is going well so far ;) It's nice to see so many old faces calling in, hope you'll stick around a while fellers :) Sunny again here, but I have some dull stuff to do at home, which'll occupy my morning  Hoping to get up to the post office later, get a bit of fresh air ;) Have a great day Guardians

Thanks Jack.
The big rose is good for a change. Don't forget to give it TLC😉
Have a great day.

Thanks kindly Gary.

I am always fascinated by your delving into numbers. 😀
As always, (b) would be my answer on the test. 🤔
Numbers are tremendous tools and fun friends, Bob. 🤓

Thanks Gary 👍🤠 Yes it's a train whistle. Nice tone and loud.

Thanks buddy 👍🤠

👍

Mercy sakes now me head hurts. In school I always thought I understood math. But it never came out the end of me pencil as I was thought it should have. 🤔😁
Thanks for the whistle info, David.:) Do you blow into the end and get a 3-note"chord"?
Math is like a road trip - lots of routes to get to the destination!

Obviously.
😁
You must be quite proud to have a Space Shuttle Lamb with such an intriguing number, Jer! 🤓

Ouch! I was once in a restaurant, and somehow managed to swallow a whole green chilli, mistaking it for a green bean! :D I didn't taste much after that  🤣 I haven't had time to at this evening, so it's just as well I had a nice lunch, a sweet potato hash, with Merguez sausage, and all sorts of goodies in there 😋

Yes, @ADEE was also with us, it was a good day :) Thank you very much, I was able to wear my flat cap on Yorkshire Day, as it was a little cooler than it's been :)
Sounds like a hot time in the old town that night, Jack! 🥵

...
Thank you GT!

😁 discombobulatoryishnessable... 😁

:)

Exactly ... wait... whutttt...? unhuh.... no.... okay okay okay i get it... no... I don't... yeah... that's what I thought... wait... no... I have a headache now.... zzzzzzzzzz.......
Seems like a lot of that going around, Dwight! 🤓

Fascinating Gary  Thank you for sharing the pics :)
I've taken many knife photos on that campus, so I'm sure it will show up occasionally.

That's a beauty Gary ! 😍
Thanks, Steve. :)

I was in Barnitt's last week Gary, though they don't stock those knives anymore
That's disappointing news! :( I went to their website and decided maybe someday I should get a shoe knife or a hacking knife.

Union Jack has some beautiful Rosewood 🐑👍🤠
Gorgeous rosewood GT!
Thanks, David & Dwight; my family picked out a good one for me!;)

...

That looks like a beautiful campus, GT. I’m a sucker for a nice college campus with historic buildings and open green space. 🙂

I hope all you Guardians had a good weekend. Ours was busy but fun. On Friday we went to a Twins game, where, coincidentally, they were playing the Cleveland Guardians.
...
While we were at the baseball game, Julie got a text from a coworker saying they couldn’t use their tickets to the Vikings preseason game the next day, and asking if we would like them. So, on Saturday, we headed back downtown for the Vikings game.
...
The tickets actually came with access to one of the stadiums all-inclusive clubs, so there was all kinds of free food — burgers, nachos, buffalo chicken tenders, soft pretzels, loaded potato skins, some sort of fancy sushi-looking thing — and free beer, too! Not just the cheap macro stuff, but good beer! Needless to say, we had a good time.
...
Unfortunately I didn’t have a Lambsfoot with me for either of these events. They will let you into Target Field with a pocket knife, but sometimes it’s just easier to leave it in the car; at least once I’ve had to show the security guard working the entry the policy on their own website. 🙄 Knives are strictly prohibited at the Vikings games.

After our busy Friday and Saturday, we had a pretty relaxing Sunday. Picked up groceries for the week, got some stuff done at the house. It was a good day.

When I wasn’t at a sporting event, I had my Katalox Albers in my pocket for the weekend.

Have a good week, Guardians!
Thanks, Barrett. :) The shady woods and meandering creek(s?) are a big draw for me in the summer.
Looks like you had an eventful and enjoyable weekend; cool photos!:thumbsup:

Beautiful grain, Gary.
UJ has a nice coat !
Union Jack has aged nicely Gary :)
Thanks for the compliments, Jeff & Steve & Jack. :)
I'm amazed at how good the rosewood of an off-hardware-store-shelf pocket knife looks.
