Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I’m fairly certain football is the biggest in terms of TV viewership, average game attendance, and overall league revenue, followed by baseball, and then basketball.

Some aspects are a little hard to compare. An NFL (National Football League) season is 17 games, where an MLB (Major League Baseball) season is 162 games. So even though the average MLB game attendance is only 1/3 of the NFL average, total attendance for the season is much higher. But I’m pretty sure football brings in significantly more TV viewers, and more money.

Personally, my favorite is baseball, especially when it comes to watching games in person.

Hope you had a good one too David, nice pic :)
Meet the newest Lamb, Alexander.
What started out as a slow inducing process turned very stressful when his heart rate dropped significantly during contractions. Mom had to do a C Section due to the cord being wrapped around his neck. It’s been a long 22 hours, but mom and baby are doing good. Finally resting.

Many congratulations to the 3 of you! :) I really glad everything turned out well, and thank you so much for finding time to take a pic for us :) The advice I usually give to new parents is: The first 25 years are the hardest! :D Seriously, enjoy every minute of it :)
I hope your weekend passes without a hitch, Jack. Rum, Caribbean food, and good company sounds great! Reminds me of our destination wedding and honeymoon in Jamaica, man that was a good time. 🍹😎🌴
Thanks Pat, that sounds wonderful :) I doubt we'll get the weather, but at least I only have to go to the bottom of my street! :D Not too far to stagger back ;)
Have a great weekend Jack !
Thanks a lot Steve, you too :)

Now you're talking! 😋
You can leave me right out of the brioche bun. Bet ya didn't see that coming. 🤣🤣🤣
LOL! :D I must say, I'm not a big fan :D
Aussie citizenship revoked.
Mayo on a burger?!😫
Bbq, chilli or possibly mustard.
Mayo is certainly my most disliked condiment! :D
Yeah you did I've mentioned it before, even posted pics of homade burgers.
Really?

Sorry about that

Hope you enjoyed your dram Pete, and that the weekend is better :)
Commercial Mayo on anything. 😝.

:D

You live on a beautiful street of homes Jack.
Thank you Dwight, I'm very fond of it :) The old houses are beautiful, and it's been a conservation area for the past 20 years or so, but unfortunately, in the early 1970's, about a third of the old houses were knocked down, and replaced with modern apartments. It's still a nice street though (I was rather embarrassed that the bins were out for collection! :D)
Your new Lamb is a pretty one David :)
Have a great weekend Jack! Beautiful lamb!
Many thanks Dwight, you too my friend :)
Beautiful leatherwork with your lovely Lamb buddy :)
Sweet Lamb :)
Hope you have a great weekend, Jack!
Thanks a lot Barrett, you too pal :)
Hope next week is better, Pete. I hadn’t noticed the pronunciation on a bottle of Laphroaig before, but I don’t go through it very fast, so the bottle I’ve got is at least a couple years old. I’ll double check it when I get home, probably give it a taste while I’m at it, you know, make sure it’s still good. 😁
I hadn't noticed that before either. I was surprised that my local supermarket had Laphroaig on offer at £22 recently. Coincidentally, in the pub next door, they had it 'on offer' at £6 for a (stingy) single shot!
Now that’s a condiment! 😎 I love a good hot mustard. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Tool Man tells a story about an American Rock & Roll friend of the Teds, Eugene, who bought a pork-pie, while they were on a pub-crawl in York, and completely covered it in English mustard. The taste came as a shock, and Eugene kept exclaiming, "Man o man, that's hot!". Later, he ordered a second pork-pie, and did exactly the same :D
🤣🤣
Thought I'd might of kicked a hornet's nest 😁
Vegemite nectar of the gods! Although these days I have to go salt reduced 😢

LOL! :D Cool pic Mitch :D :)
Took the family to another baseball game tonight. I’ve been a St. Louis Cardinals fan since I was a kid (went to my first game at the old Busch Stadium when I was just a couple months old). The last time the Cardinals played the Twins in Minnesota was in 2020, when you couldn’t go to games in person, and the last time before that was in 2018, right after we moved to Minnesota. So it was nice to get to see them play here again (and win!).

Decided to leave my new Guardians Lamb at home. It would be allowed, but sometimes it’s not worth the hassle (especially when the people working the gate aren’t actually familiar with their own policies). 🙄
Looks like a great time Barrett :)
Dang, I hit Post Reply to quick on my last post, but it’ll stand on its own, so I’m leaving it. 😁
That's it mate, pad your post count! :D ;)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing well :) Great news on little Alexander :) This thread isn't slowing down, we're on page 5045 already! I'm about to get ready to start my weekend, then I'll be heading down to Charlie's for coffee, and calling round at Matt's, as I have a gift for his son, before me and Matt head into town for a few pints with friends. I think we're going out for something to eat after too 😋 I hope you all have a fabulous day Guardians

Thanks Barrett!

I noticed that this afternoon, i thought it might settle down after all the excitement of the latest release, but it jumped 3 pages in a couple of hours.
Yeah, took me well over an hour to catch up earlier

Tool Man has had some decent 'ammo boxes' recently, so I got one for Matt's lad, Cillian. Like most boys, he likes military stuff. It says 'Grenades' on the side, so I hope I don't get SWAT-teamed walking down the road with it! :eek Talking of the military, I hope Paul is enjoying his holiday, and hasn't lost his shirt in Vegas! :D

Regal 🐑 and fantastic leather. I've always loved floral leather carving
Thanks pal.

Wow! That afzelia really pops with the leather background. :D
Beautiful leatherwork with your lovely Lamb buddy
Thanks buddy.
Eugene kept exclaiming, "Man o man, that's hot!"
I noticed the jar has the word "hot" on the label 3 times. I'd believe it.
