Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Do you suppose this means that most of us have more knives than we actually admit to?? 🤓

Almost certainly! 😁

Starting another week. Hopefully this one will be less hectic than last week.

Nice pic, Jeremy. Hope you have an easy week!

I forgot about that one Kevin :)
That was a little while back. I had almost forgot about it myself.
Good one to start with 🐑👍🤠
It took me a minute to get used to the sway of the handle but after some use I quickly realized just how ergonomic it is.

I hadn't carried this little one for awhile so I put it to work cutting up stuff for a omelet.

I'm going to be hiding in the AC today as it's nasty outside. Dew point of 77° Humidity 78 % and a high of 93°
Excessive heat warning and Hazardous weather warning for severe thunderstorms with hail for this afternoon .

Stay safe brother
Although didn't know you had moved to Oz, will be 75f & 70% humidity, still winter.
For reasons I don’t know I get sick too often, anyway Sunday/Monday was another one of them. I was sitting out on the verandah yesterday afternoon getting some fresh air while doing work on my iPad. My wife came down the driveway with the kids and hopped out of the car laughing. I entertained her and asked what was so funny.

As they were coming in here I was sitting down in my flat cap slumped forward typing away and my six year old Flynn (picture an innocent but Australian accent) “hey mum, whos that old bloke sitting on the verandah”. Hannah laughed so hard because she wondered the same thing!

I asked him why did you think I was old, he said “because of your hat, you like a pop”. 😂

33 and I’m already looking like a grandfather!

Easy to figure out, you have young 1s. I've always said they should come with toxic biohazard rating till about the age of 20.
They were just amazed of your sartorial elegance and didn't recognise you😉
Nice picture.
Thanks for the laugh Poppy Jack!

🤞🤞🤞at least you have a sweet lamb to help.
Nice slip creation Jeremy.
Thanks Bob, the pen loop makes it extra handy.
“Run! Run!” 🐢💨

Sweet photo Dwight. 😎👍

Good looking setup Jeremy. 😎👍

Almost certainly! 😁

Nice pic, Jeremy. Hope you have an easy week!
Thanks Barrett, that is the goal. Taking Friday off which will help with that.

That looks so good Dwight, I may have to stain mine.
Haha! Thank you my friend. ;)
Trying to catch up, but doing it one day at a time won't work! 😲

Thanks for the generous and fun estimation GAW, Bob!:cool::cool::thumbsup:
Congrats to CelloDan CelloDan on his victory!:thumbsup::cool:
I wonder if all of his experience counting out seeds and nuts for feeding his feral friends gave him an advantage?? 😁
I apologize for my embarrassing performance! o_O:( In retrospect, I realized that I visualized the beans in the glass as a cone (with straight sides coming to a point, which is not a very accurate model), rather than as half an ellipsoid (essentially, half an American football shape). Also in looking back, I noticed that I had inadvertently miscalculated the volume of a typical coffee bean in terms of "cubic bean lengths", essentially treating each bean as being as thick as it was long! (Had I avoided those two errors, I'd have come up with 302 beans for my estimate, which is still a sizable error, but much closer than my actual guess.)

Thanks, David; ebony is a marvelous cover material! :)

Thanks, Jack.
I don't know what the "average active duration" of BF threads is, in terms of days or posts, but I'd guess the "half-life" is FAR shorter than that for this Guardians thread! Buddy Holly said it best (I'm paraphrasing slightly):
I'm gonna tell you how it's gonna be
You're gonna show your lambs to me
A thread to last more than one day
The lambsfoot thread will not fade away.

That was VERY informative!! 🤓:thumbsup::cool:

Another stunning lamb.
ATTENTION - If you want to see a Lambsfoot, and i mean a stunning Lambsfoot go and have a look at the " Very Generous Gift From Glennbad " thread. It is simply stunning. 🤯 🤯 🤯 And the generosity is also mind blowing. 🤯🤯🤯
Thanks for the heads-up mate. I have a bad habit of coming only to this thread.
Thanks pal.
Beautiful crisp shot Steve.

LOL! 😁 Guess you're used to it Pete 🙂 Sweet shot there 😎👍
Thanks Jack! Living here is like having a low grade fever from May to September. 😆
That’s all that matters! 😁
🙏🤠
Stunning covers Leon!
If you miss the noise will be enough to do the job. 😁
Good copy Dwight. It was quite the report!
You'd think I was in TEXAS wouldn't ya?
🤣🤣👍🏻
Looking very slick Bob. Gorgeous horn.
Starting another week. Hopefully this one will be less hectic than last week.

I love the slip/space pen combo JA. Awesome GL-24 as well. Cool character. 👍🏻👍🏻

I came home from 11 days away from the internet to find I was over 60 pages behind on this thread. I don't post much, but, do like to read every post, although I have to admit mostly for the pics. Anyway took me a few days to catch up. Here are my two lambsfoot knives. Easy to see which one gets the most use. In fact, the Waynorth lamb has been my carry since the day I got it a few months ago.

Lucky man, those Waynorths are like hens teeth, not to mention the ebony ones 😍

It doesn’t need to be a big collection if it’s a good one!

LOL GT 😄
Gracias mi amigo !

I am afraid all that experience with feral creatures was of no help this time lol 😅

My strategy 🤓 was to guess/count the number of beans on the uppermost layer.
I then I guessed the number of "layers" that it would take to go all the way to the lowest one.
I then guessed that each layer would have about 10 beans less than the previous upper one.
I added it all up and "BINGO" 😊
As you see I did an awful lot of "guessing" lol

I apologize for my embarrassing performance! o_O:(
Oh no worries at all GT, apology accepted 😇;)

Personally, I like a good flat cap, but then I also have almost 20 years on you. 😁

This Italian flat cap actually came from an Australian shop (go figure; most Americans don't know what a good hat is 🤣).... threw it in with an Akubra I was desperate for.

I did the EXACT same thing. Came up with 78.
