It certainly didn't have much in common with Tool Man's old short -wheel base Landy! Project completed, well paid, and an offer I'm considering. I'm heading back to Bradford tomorrow for a thank you lunch, and drinks

Guardians, I apologize for my recent absence, but you are not forgotten. I still have two different lambs on my workbench that I fondle and use daily, but my new Case-Bose WT has taken my breath away and I'm still in the honeymoon stage. RALF is resting in the cabinet, while my two stags, Beni and Diego are out and about.

That is a PAIR EXTRAORDINAIRE Jeff. Doesn't get any better than those two.

I wonder if Rufus1949 is carrying his Grim Reaper Coffin Jack Lambsfoot for Friday the 13th?

Thank you very much David Yes, the Crew were a bit thin on the ground that early in the background. Mel is a long-term regular, and an interesting feller to talk to, but I often miss him, as he makes fleeting visits, first thing in the morning

I believe it! They make a beautiful, quality product, and I know that doesn’t come cheap.



It’s easy to end up with leftovers with that Chicago style deep dish. Just a couple slices will fill you up!



Was it uphill both ways?



You’ll be starting up charcoal forever with that! When we first moved up to MN, they’d drop off a free Star Tribune on Sundays for a couple months. Those thick Sunday papers lasted me a quite a while, but I finally burned through ‘em all.



I did not know that, very interesting. I’m surprised it goes back as far as the 80s, I would have thought it was a much more recent innovation.



Those are kind of wild looking, with no pins or pivot visible. Cool knife.



Nice pic. The pile side of my £5 note/bookmark has a portly fellow who was famous for smoking cigars (and I think maybe a few other things).

I’ve had my Rosewood HHB in my pocket yesterday and again today, but haven’t taken a new pic, so an old one will have to suffice for now. This morning I burned myself with scalding oatmeal I was making for my daughter’s breakfast, which will hopefully be the extent of my Friday the 13th misfortunes.

Keep making that porridge goldilocks, they grow up and don't want to eat breakfast but remember temperature has to be just right.
