Very nice flock GT!Leon, I just measured 3 of my lambsfoots and I'm obviously thinking of Cracker Jack as being smaller than he really is.
(My daughter thinks of me this way; she often buys me t-shirts that are "medium" when I typically get "large" for myself.)
I measured Cracker Jack, my Ashley's Choice stag lambsfoot at 3 1/4" closed (which is 3/8" longer than a Case Peanut).
Union Jack, an A. Wright & Son rosewood lambsfoot purchased by my wife and daughter in York, England, is 3 1/2" closed.
LamBarJack, my rosewood Hartshead Barlow, is 3 11/16" closed.
So Cracker Jack is smaller than all my other lambsfoots, but not nearly as small as a Peanut in actual length.
I'll try to get a comparison shot "processed" and posted tomorrow. Here's the best I can do with an old "flock foto"; not sure how much size info you can get from it.

No drama, it just sounded small when you mentioned peanut. I was interested in having a peanut sized Lamb in my pocket.I'll try to get a comparison shot "processed" and posted tomorrow.

Welcome to Bladeforums Mike, be sure to read post 1 please. It contains some links that will, hopefully, help you find your way around. I also have a Milner, a rather battered one, but it just has the single bladeI have a knife that looks very much like this one. I also have a similar one that says J Milner & co Sheffield England that has 2 blades. This is my first post here and I am still trying to figure it out. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I’m still trying to figure out how to post and post pictures.

I appreciate that response Bob. I am currently reading some threads and I just downloaded an app called Imgur. Thanks again.
Mike
That's right Mike, if you go to the first post here, you'll find a link to a thread you can practice posting pics in, and get any advice you needI also read it’s not a good idea to learn how to post on this thread. I apologize for this, I will learn how it’s done.
Classic Sheffield jigging
That's the reason the link is there Mike, and the Technical sub-forum in general. Imgur will give you the code in order to post a PHOTO (not a link) here, you need to go to that other thread to sort that out, rather than trying to post here. I used Imgur for a couple of years, but had some problems with it a while back, so I'm afraid I can't direct you to the code, but others will help you in the Technical forum. I'm currently using postimage to post pics, and find it very straightforward
Thank you for that considerationThank you. I will share more information about them when I can figure how to create my own post. I dont want to offend anyone by posting on their post.

Enjoying seeing your vintage pics GaryAnother day, another couple of pics of Cracker Jack, the lambsfoot I'm carrying all week.
Some of you may not know why I call my Ashley's Choice lambsfoot Cracker Jack.
1) It's smaller than my other lambsfoots, almost as small as a Case peanut.
2) The stag on the pile side has what is often called popcorn.
A special treat when I was a lad was Cracker Jack, a mixture of (carmel-coated) popcorn and (very few) peanuts.
"Crackerjack" is also a term sometimes used to refer to something of high quality, such as a crackerjack sports car or a crackerjack eye surgeon.
So my high quality Ashley's Choice Lambsfoot with popcorn stag and a size somewhat similar to a Peanut certainly deserved the name Cracker Jack! Here's a couple of photos of Cracker Jack with a box of the old-fashioned treat.

That's a fine-looking Albers Barry
That's a nice one
I had this one, but gifted it to Barrett

Nice to see your Ashley's Choice too
I think there's only an 1/8" difference in blade length, but the AC is a noticeably smaller knife, in hand (and pocket), I think. Nice to see that photo againLeon, I just measured 3 of my lambsfoots and I'm obviously thinking of Cracker Jack as being smaller than he really is.

he hasn't dropped in for awhile.

Now that is isolation!!
Unique, impressive, knarly!!!
There is some WOW factor in that lamb Jack.Good morning Guardians, how is everyone? I was working on a project last night, when I got an old girlfriend, in Ireland, gave me a call. Boy, can that woman talk?! She was on the phone for an hour and a half, then went to take another call, but rang me back 5 minutes later, and was talking for another hour!Glad she's doing OK, but I didn't have time to call in here, or work on my project. It was midnight before I got to bed. I'll have to continue with that today, but I'm hoping to meet up with Wolfie for a coffee at some point, and I do need to go into town to buy some groceries. What a busy life eh?!
Still in love with this GL-24
Have a great day Guardians
