Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge a couple of great Guardians -

Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 and Jeremy @sbh06 are are two of the finest gentlemen I've ever met, and I'm truly honored to be able to call them friends! 🤝 The level of generosity here never ceases to amaze me.

What a WONDERFUL prize and "proper" way to store my ever growing Lambsfoot collection:

I was not familiar with Gerstner chests prior to this one. This is a stunning and extremely well-built example. An heirloom piece, no doubt.😍 Thanks again, Guardians! 👊

Looks like, let's see... yep: 5½ shelves worth of reasons to buy more lambs!

What a thoughtful gift! 😂

Great pic David :)
Berry is going back to work this evening.

Outstanding Jeff
Big weekend for our family.

First off, continuing on my theme this is probably my favourite Australian song lyrically speaking. A great Aussie bush ballad written by Kev Carmody, this version is a cover by Missy Higgins, Paul Kelly and Augie Smith. I recommend a listen

Han’s mum successfully ran her 10th Melbourne marathon so that was great.

Caught up with one of my good mates and met his new partner, we stayed there Saturday.

Sunday took the kids to the aquarium, even Han and I really enjoyed it. The highlight was the saltie. People kid about Australia being dangerous but when you see these things up close it’s very uncomfortable they really are monsters! We don’t get them down south, but when I buffalo hunted a few years back up north I saw a few and gave the water a wide berth.
This guy is big - 6m and 750kg or in your money just shy of 20ft and 1650lb, photos don’t do him justice.

Thanks for sharing pics of your great weekend Jack, I love that one of Charlie! :D Congratulations to Han's mum  I'm afraid the YT link doesn't work for me (music vids sometimes like that from region to region, due to copyright issues, unfortunately) :(
Bobstag again
Nice, even patina Mitch :)

The lambsfoot I'm carrying this week is the first lambsfoot I ever owned, a stag senator I won in a GAW from a BF member who lives in Manchester, England (thanks, Richard). Here it is when it first arrived, just over 9 years ago IIRC.

I met up with Rick
It will become one of the great and most coveted Lambsfoot's on the Guardians thread.
Super special knife
Afternoon all

Back to work Mitch :) ;)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend :) I have some dull stuff to do, but still excited about carrying L'Ariete :) Hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians

Many rather old quotes selected by a rather old man.

That "tiled" background is perfect for the spectacular handle on your knife, Dwight!:thumbsup::cool:

Happy Friday Guardians !

Cool blade etch on that one, Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
What's the cover material?

It was nice spending the evening with Matt and his family, and I will be off to hit the hay shortly ;)

Your Italian Ram looks quite tranquil in that sylvan setting, Jack!🤓

Hello everyone. Been carrying this one.

Fascinating covers on that one!:cool::thumbsup:

Striking burl, Dwight!😲

He also had a Bren Ten that wasn't a jam-o-matic! Ahhh, the magic of television!

I currently live about a mile away from the historic Biltmore Hotel but grew up even closer than that! So many scenes of Miami Vice were filmed at the hotel, and in and around Coral Gables, that while the show was running, seeing Don Johnson standing by the side of the road waiting to film a scene was a very regular occurrence. Me and my folks would always wave at him, and sometimes he even noticed! 🤣
I spent many Friday evenings in the late '80s watching Miami Vice. 22 episodes per season for 5 years - that's over 500 hours of my life I wish I could back again! 😲🤓 Actually, I probably learned the meaning of Art Deco, and confirmed that there were many "lifestyle choices" I'd made that were wise, so that was a benefit of watching the show.

...

... Thought I'd give my Hartshead Barlow some love today :)

Always a pleasure to see your stag HHB out and about, Jack!:thumbsup::cool:

Evening all,
After 6pm Sat here didn't get time to post this morning.
Violet took the picture this morning.

Can't see a new lamb in the near future, picked up our new car late yesterday & have a daughter turning 21 later this month.😁 ill have to talk to Santa.

Violet looks vivacious, and congrats on the new car, Mitch!:thumbsup::cool:
We haven't shopped for a brand new vehicle since buying a 2005 Honda Civic 20 years ago. I don't know if I could drive a new one these days with all the technological "advances" introduced over the past couple of decades.

Beni this weekend . . .

I'll bet Beni provides many benefits for you, Jeff!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good morning !
