I've just finished making my first. A lambsfoot with brass liners and bolsters, a vintage linen micarta handle, and a RWL34 blade and spring.
I Hope you like it.

Hi mateBeautiful knife sir.
Do you use natural materials much or favour micarta’s etc. generally?
Close call with that young'nThe sun came out a bit, for a couple of hours, so I headed out to get something to eat, and pick up a few groceries. I was even able to sit outside one of the yuppie cafes up the road, where pancakes (3), maple syrup, 3 rashers of bacon, and 2 coffees, cost me £20. Nice pancakes though

I walked further up the road, and did a bit of shopping, but nearly witnessed a nasty accident. I was waiting to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing, along with a few other people. In front of me was a girl of about 3, I would think, with her scooter, and her mother, and grandfather. A police car was illegally parked right across the crossing, and a female officer was taking her time to get out, to go and get coffee. As the lights changed, people had to walk round the rear of the car to cross the road, at which point it rolled back 2 or 3 feet, and very narrowly avoided hitting the little girl and her grandfather. I don't know if the driver was even aware of what they had done, but if so, they didn't get out to apologiseI'm glad nobody was hurt. I once saw a young girl killed by a speeding car, and it is not something you forget
