When I was a boy, they sold iced fingers, with currants in the slightly sweet bread, and they were called Sally Lunn's 
Having been around here, apparently, at least since the time of Dickens, they have now virtually disappeared 
Edit - And actually this Wikipedia entry shows something entirely different to a Northern Sally Lunn!

Great pics TysonDouble lamb and double Henderson's day. Had both A. Wright Hartshead Barlow and Albers GL-24.
We're having my parents over tomorrow for second Thanksgiving. I'm making a 7 pound turkey breast and started brining it this morning - I included a pretty generous dose of Henderson's in the brine.
We went out to run our dogs around at a succession of different parks, and when we got home we had a package fromJack Black that include a lovely "Yorkshire Lass" beanie for Dawn (who was delighted by it) and a "Henderson's Strong & Northern" beanie for me, which I am also delighted with.
We wore these while we were prepping sides and watching "The Lord of the Rings". You're the very best, Jack! Thank you!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It was absolutely packed in Leeds city centre yesterday evening, the busiest I've ever seen it. The Christmas lights are on now too, seems kind of early this year. I was planning on heading out for some food today, but the weather is so rotten, I may well stay in instead. I have a killer week coming up, so it wouldn't hurt to get all the housework done
