Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I've just finished making my first. A lambsfoot with brass liners and bolsters, a vintage linen micarta handle, and a RWL34 blade and spring.

I Hope you like it.

Wow! Well done :) I like your mark  Excellent work
LOL! :D The phrase 'milk and cookies' reminds me of my childhood, though I can't remember the first US TV show where I heard it :) Great shot Bob :)

The sun came out a bit, for a couple of hours, so I headed out to get something to eat, and pick up a few groceries. I was even able to sit outside one of the yuppie cafes up the road, where pancakes (3), maple syrup, 3 rashers of bacon, and 2 coffees, cost me £20. Nice pancakes though 😋

I was a bit late taking a pic! :D ;)

I walked further up the road, and did a bit of shopping, but nearly witnessed a nasty accident. I was waiting to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing, along with a few other people. In front of me was a girl of about 3, I would think, with her scooter, and her mother, and grandfather. A police car was illegally parked right across the crossing, and a female officer was taking her time to get out, to go and get coffee. As the lights changed, people had to walk round the rear of the car to cross the road, at which point it rolled back 2 or 3 feet, and very narrowly avoided hitting the little girl and her grandfather. I don't know if the driver was even aware of what they had done, but if so, they didn't get out to apologise 🤨 I'm glad nobody was hurt. I once saw a young girl killed by a speeding car, and it is not something you forget :(

Hoping to get some time to fiddle about in the garage today. Been practicing cutting shield pockets into this scrap buffalo horn with my dremel. Still a long way from good, but everyone starts somewhere right?

(Don’t worry, the GL-24 will remain unmodified)

Very interesting Hoff  At first, I thought you had moderated your ambitions to a similar level as my own, but I see I was wrong! :D I bought a Dremel from Tool Man 10 years ago, and it has never been out of the box 😖:rolleyes:Good luck my friend

Thank you, I’ve been taking some apart and putting them back together. Even if they’re not great it’s a pretty fun way to pass some time 🙂

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. I've got at least 3 days of early starts and late finishes coming up this week, and possibly 4 ☹️ So, I'm not going to be here much, and catching up at odd hours I'm afraid. Obviously I'll check in when I can Guardians. Hope everyone has a good week 👍
