Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I don't often have a double lamb day (because I'd rather have two different blade shapes available) but sometimes you just gotta do it.

My first lamb and my latest lamb:

Happy Double Lamb Day Tyson! πŸ₯³:D:thumbsup:

My first lambfoot and the one that got me into the pattern. Yes she is ugly, poor F&F in general but I was hooked by the blade shape and gator snap. View attachment 2731001
Nice bit of history there Pete, glad you got bitten buddy :)
Finally found one!!! Lamb Spey βœ…. Thank you for the assist SteveC SteveC . I’ve been on the search ever since I was made aware of this tweet ultimate combo of awesomeness. I will only show the Spey blade here this one time as to keep in good keeping with this thread. I must break the rule this one time though πŸ˜‚.

This knife has really good fit and finish and I think it may have some age on it. 60s-70s maybe 🀷. Blades are nice and full and who doesn’t love a double TEW blade stamp!!!! Any help on the age would be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone is doing well. I know I have been rotten about participation. Please excuse my sins 😊.

Congratulations Paul (no rules broken either)! πŸ₯³ That's a good broad guess on the age I think, might even be a little earlier  In the late 70's, I used to walk past the old TEW factory, on my way to work, every day, and there'd be scores of workers, pouring in through the various entrances
Here’s a Taylors Eye Witness and there’s not a chance I could remember the cutlers name but the knife came in a nice box with a COA signed by him. I like it especially the covers.

Great to see :) TEW used to use Russell White for that line, though I think another cutler, with the same surname, has taken over, more recently

Shocking! JB Lamb has his eyes on youπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜

No, it removes one of the great features of the blade
Been absolutely exhausted lately and not posting much. Still around though, and hoping more free time comes my way soon.

Sorry to hear that Hoff, I hope you get the spring back in your step my friend  Nice pic of this year's Guardians knife :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope your week got off to a good start :) I ended up having to do some more work last night, but I didn't mind too much. I still found time to watch a contemporary, irreverent Irish comedy, which has been a success, despite it's predominant use of the Irish language. By chance, I received a phone call from an old Irish girlfriend after, who is hard enough to understand in English! :D No work today, so far, but no shortage of things I need to do  Going to carry my GL-24 :) Have a great day Guardians

Jolly good micarta Jack.πŸ˜€

I was surprised to find a ripe fig yesterday, December 9, when fig trees are going dormant. It's tough growing figs here in my part of San Francisco. The weather doesn't get warm enough to ripen them. Those that manage to ripen do so late. This one was legitimately ripe -- had some flavor. I usually have the Glenn recovered lamb in my pocket.

Very nice Glennbad treatment.😎

In appearance, it looks very tasty. I lived on fig jam, as a lad, from our trees in NJ.

Nice bit of Bex Steve :)

Thanks !

That's cool 😎 Strangely, an old feller on my street used to grow figs. He gave a few once. I was surprised they'd grow here πŸ‘

I threw out my Hercules Power Watchband years ago, or I'd be all set.

Great pics Jer πŸ˜πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Thanks brother πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Yes, he did it again.

Sadly, we have no Tunisian restaurants near by, looks tasty Jack.

Incredible Bob, congratulations πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

It's the only one I know of in Leeds my friend. Tasty food, and great value. It's around 40 here this afternoon, maybe colder with wind-chill, and I've nipped into the bookshop cafe for coffee and a piece of carrot cake πŸ˜‰
